That's very cool. I poked around Seagate's website a bit and found they offer a 9.5mm SSHD. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc…

At $124 for 9.5mm 1TB hybrid this is probably the best bet for a PS4, provided of course that there isn't anything funky with hybrid drives that would prevent the PS4 from using it. I

It didn't have very good textures. Most games this generation didn't have very good textures.

It uses standard SATA cables so in theory if you can get them plugged in I don't see why that wouldn't work.

If I recall correctly, Blu-ray read times are something like 2x. 1x being defined as 36 Megabits/sec, so that's 72 Megabits/sec theoretical. For comparison, let's call a regular mobile 2.5" HDD read speed 50 Megabytes. 1 Megabit is equivalent to 0.125 Megabytes, so that 72 Megabit/sec read speed is equivalent to 9

I haven't made a purchase from EA that's I've been happy with, so a few years ago I stopped buying from them.

I won't buy another EA game until they at least start pretending that they respect their customers and developers.

Every time I read something about them that makes me waver over to the Origin page, it's always

I actually absolutely prefer the Dualshock 3 to the Xbox pad in every way save one. The Xbox triggers are superior. I love the thumbstick placement, the buttons, the shoulder buttons, and the way it fits in my hands. Pretty much everything about it. I use a DS3 on my PC for platformers and some 3rd person games.

What I took away from that is that EA got mad money from signing Titanfall exclusively, and Respawn probably got diddly-squat aside from the funding they've already received.

Though, that may be my EA hate clouding my vision. My hate of the current publisher/development model also makes things hazy.

I don't think the new Steam machines using SteamOS will run Titanfall. SteamOS is Linux based. There are machines coming out that are Windows based, and you could most certainly install Titanfall through Origin, then add it to your Steam list and launch it from there.

Aw, no 6950? The one card I have and you don't test it :(
Oh well. I'm saving up for a 290X, then I'll drop this in my girlfriends rig and she can crossfire it.

It is, but I'm not sure it's enough to compensate for slow ass DDR3.

Rather - I'm not sure developers know how to use it to compensate for slow ass DDR3.

I said that PS4 is running BF4 at 900p. Xbone is running it at 720p.

I'm not a developer by any means, but there are differences of opinion on whether or not 32MB of ESRAM is enough to apply full AA to a 1080p image. I recall the guy who invented FXAA discussing it a lot earlier this year.

I brought it up because of all this talk about the different resolutions Xbone is running these

The new 290X benchmarks made me trade in my PS4 pre-order for cold hard cash.

From what I understand right now Ryse works at 900p, COD at 720p, and BF4 is at 720p. It's been confirmed that PS4 runs COD at 1080p and BF4 at 900p. The "best looking" one will likely be the one with the best filters and framerate, regardless of resolution.

That being said, I'm interested to see how different

I thought I was the only one... <3

That was a video game. Meet The Legend of Zelda, Faces of Evil. or whatever, for the CDI.

Now playing

First voice actor ever? This is of course ignoring the Super Mario Bros Super Show.

Here's the wedding ring you ordered, now make sure your wife activates it online before she tries wearing it outside of the house.
