That's a valid question. Roberts has said that's the target he wants though, and countless other game creators, movie makers, etc. have all stated they want to make "something for everybody".
While I'd like to agree, I think the statement that the best products are the ones with specific audiences is arguable. Not by…
I stopped paying attention to what people had to say online when Counterstrike went out of beta.
That being said, the video in the article of people screaming at each other could easily be mistaken for every bar I've ever been in during playoff season. Pick a sport, any playoff season.
Except the Brier, nobody screams…
I was kind of afraid no one would get that.
I love this idea for the economy, however, I think the biggest hurdle is going to be making these things accessible to casual players while keeping it complex enough that people who really want to delve in there are able to. That's one of the things that I didn't like about EVE when I tried it. I wanted to fit into…
MSI has notoriously bad videos. Seriously, some of them are just terrible!
ADATA has the same practice of using models for no raisin.
This is a picture you had to share for a recent facebook contest to win a new DashDrive. That's it next to her elbow. It's not Bikini-Girl bad, but it's still not how I want a hardware…
Ha-Ha! Someone got it!
I figured it was something along those lines. Yeah, it's pretty great to see what happens with such a menial little error meets the right person. For every time I shake my head at the tumblr social justice goons, something like this comes up that makes me think people are going to be all right.
Who screws up and puts a completely unrelated email address in an error message? Was it developed by yogurt?
So far my Ouya has become a Towerfall/Hidden in Plain Sight machine. XBMC works pretty good on it too.
I should have mentioned I'm pretty sensitive to frame rate, and encountering it on a console just infuriates me for some reason. When I plug a game into a console, I expect it to work, when I have to deal with frame drops in every battle it drives me nuts. I started avoiding battles in Blue Dragon because I was…
That's what I thought, but I did a quick google search of both games, and both have frame rate issues mentioned in pretty much every review and there were a host of forums posts regarding the issue.
I bought my 360 around christmas time and this was one of the games I bought with it. I couldn't play for more than a few hours though, the terrible framerates and screen tearing are ruining it for me :(
I also bought Blue Dragon, and when fighting battles I swear it drops to like 10 frames/sec. I want to play these…
Then Obsidian should never work with Bethesda, Sega, Atari or Lucasarts again, because apparently they all love making great games, but hate Obsidian.
Half-Life came out in 1998 after around two years development time.
Half-Life 2 came out in 2004, five years later
Episode 1 came out in 2006, two years later
Episode 2 came out in 2007, one year later
It's been five years, and in that time we've gotten a number of spin-off games and as other people have mentioned,…
Only if it worked without me having to put the card on table and shine a light on it. Im sure that video of the ps4 video showed them typing by pointing the controller at the screen and pressing a button. Other than offering a straight up wireless keyboard, i think thats the option that appeals to me the most.
But Cliffy B gave us Jazz Jackrabbit and Unreal Tournament! then he was never heard from again.
HE WAS NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN
The other platforms tied WiiU's shoelaces together and left it for the walkers. Someone had to go.
I really enjoyed it, so I'll probably put $20 towards the whole season.
Still, people were not able to play their game for a period of time because of a problem with their servers or whatever. It's a super shitty situation.
