I said it before, often through heavy breaths, but that Miles Davis Moody is fogging up my screen. Anyone else notice how "excited" he was during the photo shoot?
Really, the fact that the editing team on this show isn't living in a house made out of Emmys proves just how out of touch the Emmys are.
I think she's actually kind of funny. She doesn't seem to take herself too seriously (trying to catch the straw with her tongue, for example). I usually roll my eyes at the fishy body queens, but I do see something in Courtney. Obviously she's not as quick as Bianca or as deceptively witty as Willam or as fierce as…
You're right. This show is very offensive to all the 7 foot bearded ladies in silver jumpsuit togas out there.
I agree about Adore. Very dry humour. I also like April and Vivacious. Oh, and Ben. I just feel like this week's group had more diversity of personalities and aesthetics.
Did it really take you that long? I hated her once she started screaming at Willam in Untucked in ep 1 saying she didn't need Ru's approval and Willam was pathetic for needing it. As much as the PhiPhi/Sharon feud was promoted, Phi2 was really, really mean to Willam.
I agree about Milk making me a bit uncomfortable, which I think is part of being a good drag queen. It shouldn't be about being another pretty face (though there's room for that in entertainment). Willam also made me slightly uncomfortable in her personality, and that's why I still love her.
Sharon and Jinkx upped the glam when they were told to, it'll be interesting to see if Milk does. As someone else said above, she makes me slightly uncomfortable, which is exactly what I think drag should be about. Pushing limits, but still maintaining some accessibility.
Now for the rational thoughts. This ep was pretty underwhelming, actually I appreciate trying to be different. the drama, the focus on a few queens early going. But the catwalk wasn't anything special from anyone. Any one of them could have been in the bottom or the top. Nothing special.
This is a family show, and comment section, so all I want to say is:
Makes sense. If you tax winnings, you should be able to count loses as expenses.
There used to be an Asian version of the show. It was pretty cool because each team was from a different country, and they might visit their home country on a leg. The show was in English, and the contestants had to speak it, but obviously most of them had knowledge of other languages so it was interesting to see…
Uh, I think Maymar was talking about the other international versions, as per the posts above. Saying Canada is big isn't saying the USA is small. Jeez, and they say Canadians are the ones with the inferiority complex.
I like Maggie. I think she's one of the few believable and natural characters on this show. Rick, though. Ugh.
It's weird, there's lots of things I don't agree with here but I don't bother downvoting it. I upvote what I really agree with. I think the lack of upvotes indicates general disagreement with it, why bother with the downvote? I mean, sure for racist or misogynistic posts or completely BS posts. But "I don't like…
I said it above, but that could have been World War Z. What a waste…
I know, right?! That was the single most unbelievable and stupidest thing in this episode (besides the family not having any idea of the zombies after 2 years). It's not like they had anywhere to go. You have a good life here, well protected (though you don't even lock your doors) and lots of food, apparently
Errr…that was the mom from the episode. Right? Why would he need to tell Carol about his past? She was sort of there.
World War Z could have been that show. 24 (or whatever) strong, self-contained, episodes to make a mini series. Instead, Brad Pitt and super-zombies. And Pepsi. Sigh.
