Pimps up, reactionary conservatives down!

My idea: after the two point conversion, a team can kick a 60-yard PAT for another two points, but it's double or nothing. Make it? You get your 10 points. Miss? Back down to six.

If anyone knows about getting 9 points on one drive, it's Jim Irsay.

How do people not understand the basic concept of a tournament bracket, how is that possible while simultaneously being aware of how to put on pants

Women: Never ever vote for a Republican.

Also, I have been meaning to tell you this for ages (like, every time I see you on here), but I love your name. Obsessed with The Wire. We've been wanting to get our dog a friend and my husband is dying to name a dog "Avon Barksdale." I think it'd be a hilarious name but he's such a terrible person that I kind of

LUCKILY, I can tell you that you'll love your Wrestlemania experience. I went to Raw shows all my life, so when they finally announced it was coming down here to Miami, I was going and no force on earth was going to stop me.
It is a completely different atmosphere, tons of international flags flying everywhere,

"fortuitous airline fuckery"

I went to both Metlife Stadium and New Orleans, and while the show at 30 was much better, being a NYer and being able to hit up the local indie shows that pop up around Mania makes for a much better rasslin weekend experience.
Either way the 12 year old in you will be stoked as hell that you're at Wrestlemania, so

I dunno, a part of me really wonders what it's going to be like this year when Roman goes over Brock and the place erupts in the loudest boos you could ever imagine.

Worse than that, she's going to have the residual taste of Chloraseptic, stuffed crust pizza, and Jim Boeheim's ass on her mouth for hours.

i was at the aforementioned WM 27, which by all objective standards is near the bottom of the list, especially the convoluted and unsatisfying main event.

I can say that I was one of those lucky folks to have gone to WrestleMania 30. It was my first time in NOLA and the whole weekend was a lot of fun. So many happy people, lots of cool stuff to see, and it's just a great atmosphere. I'd say go to Axxxess if you can, and make sure to hit up the WrestleMania superstore

You're going to have a blast man. That's sweet.

You're right about that. And those shows often show "cliche New York" not the real thing or even a magical realism version of the real thing, which would at least be interesting. I believe Tina moved here from wherever, so this may be partially her finding it easy to tell that story. Perhaps why many others have done

But Omar...that is exactly my life story. It is a wonderful, magical place. What's wrong with people thinking that? Other than they either paint NYC as the 60s New York with all the fun and magic or, weirdly, the 70's NYC with all the danger and the crime?

GM was wrecked by it's executives.

At my school, we have been talking to the kids about growth and fixed mind set. A lot of them are fixed and they believe they can't grow or change. This makes them give up when they have to struggle on any problem. We are trying to get them to realize that struggling and failing is a part of learning. At some point,

Totally agree. It's just pure fucking laziness. It's as lazy of a fiction device as the . . . wait for it . . . DREAM SEQUENCE.

I really need the show about the Genius Garbage Man who is also a total asshole. He hates everyone, but can solve people's problems just by examining what they threw away. You know you'd watch it.
