We have 4 professional sports teams...someone needs to sell them their Astons. They sell Bentley’s and Maserati’s there as well, and service the Ferrari’s our athlete’s buy in Chicago.
...Or I can buy a Golf R for 36k and spend another 700 bucks to make that kind of power, all with the added bonus of not having to look at this abomination sitting in my driveway.

Stock GTI clutch is terrible. I went aftermarket with my replacement and have had zero issues. I agree though, original clutch at 215k is exceptional.
Less than a grand will get you an ECU reflash that’ll put this thing under 4 secs to 60. Under 4 to 60mph and I can fit my kid in the back seat comfortably? Sign me up.
My GTI got rear-ended this week and I’m driving a brand spankin’ new Chrysler 200 rental special while it’s getting fixed. Definitely bland enough to sufficiently sedate an appliance-seeker. Have to be careful not to pass out. Automotive Ambien. I want my clutch pedal back.
