Olivia Pope's Wine Glass

Definitely not weird, personal preference and all. HOWEVER, there’s a huge difference between someone doing it well and someone doing it terribly.

I am dealing with this shit for about 10 hours a day at work and honestly all I want to do nowadays is run and watch Bravo with a wine glass in both hands.

I would 100% watch this show, but also, I’m roughly the same age as all them (31) and it would not be hard at all to rope together 6 pregnant or recently pregnant friends of mine.

You’re 47 years old, look fucking fantastic, and if you wanted to date a 22-year-old model, go get you some, girl.

As much as I wish you were right, you’re completely wrong. I cite several girls at my high school and many numerous idiots I’ve encountered in LA as examples.

I grew up wealthy. My parents are both high-earners, and there’s a lot of family money on my dad’s side. Went to a private school, had a nanny, took private language lessons, many family trips, etc.

My office is in turmoil every single day because of Trump. A single tweet can cause entire teams of people to rework months of work, it’s insane.

My girlfriend and I are moving in together next month so this may all change (we live in different sides of LA so can easily go a couple of days without seeing each other), but for now, I find it less stressful to have two shows to watch. One by myself and one that we watch together.

I saw Hamilton with my Australian girlfriend, and she thought it was really fun, despite not knowing a ton of the historical context. I think I did enjoy it more because I’m a big history nerd, but I definitely think you’ll enjoy it regardless.

I was on a plane yesterday when the news broke and as soon as we landed and phones were checked, I heard at least five different people in my immediate vicinity say, “oh, my god,” at the same time.

To be fair, if I had a full-time personal assistant, first thing on my list would be to make sure I was fed and always with coffee in hand.

I’m an economic policy analyst who literally spends the entire day knee deep in this shit and I still feel like I’m getting buried under the avalanche.

I didn’t read that, but I’m right there with you. He was a terrible person. I won’t say he deserved to die necessarily, but I’m not going to fault Olivia for snapping.

She full on went to town on this disabled man’s face. Smashed it to all sorts of pieces.

I stopped watching last season (after Liv did that thing with the chair, but not necessarily because of that.) Should I finish?

I don’t remember quite how old I was, but I remember the babies discussion very similarly. My parents are doctors and my mom is Danish so there was no way that talk wasn’t going to be frank.

You’re right, I apologize for being too flippant.

This is it, exactly.

Just think— his face will be the one greeting all passengers in the international terminal at the airport. Welcome to America, here’s our Cheeto King!

Several people from my office have tickets and have no plans on going. I work for a politically adjacent company, and it’s very common for many of my coworkers to go to D.C. for various event. I think that’s probably going to come to an end now whether it’s purposeful or from being denied access.
