I think it’s more for demonstration purposes. I’m imagining my office if all of the women decided not to show up and I’m pretty convinced things would suffer pretty impactfully even for a day (for instance, our graphic department, where I work, is about 80 percent women. The rest of us might as well go home for the

To demonstrate the void they leave. There have been effective strikes like this in the passed. Not in the US, but it was about damn time.

I think this is meant to be more of a single act of protest - it’s different to a strike against a particular employer. If you are a member of a union and you strike, the union will formally negotiate with the employer for particular demands, which isn’t the case here. Happy to be corrected on this, but that’s my

I think the point is to make the presence felt. Go into work one day and there are zero women there and for most work places it will be pretty strange.

Even one day is a demonstration of how important women’s work is. A wakeup call. And it’s not as if staying off the job until things change is going to work. Change will take longer than that.

Same here.

Yeah . . . I definitely just did that. Poor Heidi.

I think it suggests that everybody is different and has different experiences with marriage and with everything else.

She was the actress he hooked up with on the set he was working on. I get the feeling we were supposed to hate her, and to be fair she was a little bit attention-seeking, but she was also generally really nice and welcoming and warm to him, and even rolled with a shitload of drama when Mickey came and caused a scene

I feel like the opinion of ‘these people are unlikable in the most awful ways, and I don’t know why I watched them but I will absolutely watch season two’ is the universal reaction to this show.

I find this sad because by all accounts Ben’s performance was very good! He was simply trapped in Snyder’s “My Jackoff Ode To Ayn Rand” fantasia fart.

by saying you’re the minority.

I think he’s a meh actor, no matter the role.

Agreed. He was fine, despite being hampered with a bad script and loads of ridiculousness.

I think even io9's critical review of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (The title needs to be typed out in length to highlight how ridiculous it is.) highlighted that Ben was a decent Batman. Even Honest Trailers, out to point out all of movie wrongs, highlighted the good Batman scenes.

I don’t think many people had an issue with him playing Batman or his acting. In fact most people I’ve seen who hate the DC movies were glad he was directing Batman because he’s actually talented.

If there is a level below grey this will probably result in my being relegated to it forever, but hey. I’m with you. I didn’t hate it either and am curious to see more.

I think you’re right about this, I think he did what he could with what he had, I also feel that way about Suicide Squad (except Jared Leto bc... ugggh), like the material was just bad... really bad.

I gotta be honest; I liked both films. They were in no way works of art, but there was some good smashy-smash.

So are we a host when we have a penis inside us? Does that penis belong to us while we are hosting it? Can we do with it whatever we want? Just asking.
