Overall the acting was quite good in that movie! Jessie Eisenberg made Lex Luthor the Joker for some reason but other than that the acting was top notch. Zack Snyder just wants to jizz nonsensical gritty depression all over his movies.

Lol yes I have seen other places where Ben Affleck is well enough liked as Batman but Jezebel commenters did not seem to share that opinion.

I don’t think anyone could really say what was going on in that one regardless of their comic book knowledge. It was soppily put together. The acting was overall pretty okay, except the choice to make Luthor like the Joker.

Agreed except I really hate how stupid they made Batman. The Batman I have come to expect is not stupid enough to fall for that nonsense plan Luthor put in place.

I think Violia Davis excelled despite the badness of Suicide Squad. Margot Robbie was pretty fun to watch too.

I seem to be in the minority here but I didn’t hate Ben as Batman. The movie was horrible but Ben himself did okay considering the material and terrible dialogue he had to deal with.

Fucking yes. My prof showed the Ethan Hawke and Laurence Olivier versions and I could not stand the voice over soliloquies.

I think I am just going to picture Titus playing every main character from now on because I have 6 more Shakespeare tragedies to read this semester I might as well make it interesting. It’s better than watching Ethan fucking Hawke play Hamlet.

I actually loved how crazy Julie Taymor went with it. The fucking pie scene with that music was amazing.

I recently read Titus Andronicus for a class and the name was just too similar to Titus Andromedon and I kept picturing this Titus as Shakespeare Titus so overall great experience reading that play 10/10 would recommend reading it this way.

Agreed. I thought it was clear that Adele (who obviously did not expect this and was in no way prepared) was saying Lemonade was an album especially for black women, and I like that she added that.
