So much about the space program is absurd and reflects our pork barrel approach to spend. Why else do you have mission control and the space center in freaking Houston, and the actual launch complex in the Cape? The old school astronauts actually used to commute back and forth via T-38 trainer jets.

This literally and 100% could have been avoided if Netflix didn’t invent their own boxart to display the film like it was Bring It On with 10 year olds.

I believe I am technically Gen X, but I relate to both generations strongly and am super close to the cusp. I usually just go with Xennial (aka the Oregon Trail Generation), which is truly the most accurate.
