I met a guy in Portland who had his 4 year old in a Lions jersey. I asked him why he would subject his kid to the disappointment and pain we had know and he said “it builds character.”

The EIC defended her on Twitter.  It wasn’t just Kelsey that fucked it up.

Just to add to that- it would be one thing if it was an oversight (even a big one) on a regular piece, but the tone of Kelsey’s post was just so god damn smug. When you choose that tone you can’t swing and miss that badly.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I would say they didn’t just suggest that, they derisively mocked them with that insinuation. Any correction to that, yet?
