Well, you do like cats do and roll on your back on the floor.
That’s great news!!
You seem to have a special gift.
That sucks! I went back over their history, and they were making reasonable comments up to a point, and then seemed to go off the rails.
I like to think that no experience is wasted; it’s all fodder for personal growth. Take what you can from this, even consider things like how long it took to recognise that you wanted out, and realise that you have patience and forbearance with others, which can be good things.
Aww; sweet baby kitten!
It sounds like you have the best possible care, and an excellent prognosis, but any parent’s got to worry.
That’s a huge amount of real crap to deal with! I’m glad you do have a therapist, but I’m sure all of it will take a lot of time to process, particularly the revelations about your father, and your friend in the music business; it must be really jarring and disorienting to find out that people were not who you thought…
That whole period around Akhnaten is fascinating, and there are theories that Nefertiti was actually Smenkhare, Aknaten’s co-pharoah later on, and that she took the name Smenkhare as her ruling name.
A Hatshepsut movie would be awesome!

I remember you!
I’d really like to taste one again, and have some banana bread made from them.

I don’t have a recipe, but I do have a story. One of my earliest memories is a scent memory of “banana bread”, but I can tell you that banana bread doesn’t smell like my memory of it. Then I discovered that the bananas of my childhood, are not the banana variety that we have today. The earlier variety was called the…
That’s a great idea! I have a collection of antique mirrors, and a collection of antique fashion prints, and I want to hang both collections in the bedroom, and this would be a great way of seeing how the sizes and shapes mesh. Many of the mirrors are eccentric shapes, which may be a challenge to work with.
There are a couple of bengal cats in my neighbourhood; I call them “yard leopards”. The owners let them out, they are chipped and are wearing GPS locators, so they owners know where they are all the time, and they corral them in for the night, so they don’t fight with the raccoons.
My old friend (a “guy’s guy”), who said, out of the blue “If you need to borrow money for a down payment on a house, I’ll lend it to you”. I did and he did. And when his dog died, he called me, in tears, because none of his male friends would understand. And he wants nothing in return.
