My old friend (a “guy’s guy”), who said, out of the blue “If you need to borrow money for a down payment on a house, I’ll lend it to you”. I did and he did. And when his dog died, he called me, in tears, because none of his male friends would understand. And he wants nothing in return.

Oh Maya; I’m so sorry that some sick person is driving you away. There have been one or two occasions a few years ago where people were targeted after their pets died, and it’s certainly possible that it’s the same nasty piece of work. Whoever it is seems to have a knack of targeting people at their most vulnerable.

You could be right, and let’s hope that if they do lose, that there isn’t just pearl clutching and finger-wagging on the part of the Democrats.
