Still annoyed that Blackthorne had his character seriously nerfed in this adaptation. (It’s a point in the book that a trait that Toranaga and Blackthorne have in common is that they’re both unpredictable.)

I’m sure Gin won't be happy about having a bunch of religious people as neighbors either.
I was wondering when they’d circle back to Barriss Offee.
Not blackmail but definitely game recognizing game. That almost imperceptible smile of Toranaga sells it.
I’d put the 10-Eyed Bandit ahead of PDM.
“and the sweet old gardener Uejirou takes that task upon himself, thus dying (I think by seppuku)“
Also, if I’m not mistaken, that’s not a cannonball ripping through Jozen’s men, it’s chain shot.
It’s actually Mariko. In the book, she claims that she anointed the maid with her perfume, but in a later flashback scene, she and Fuji discuss the seduction, with Fuji accusing Mariko of being out of her mind.
Read the book and watched the original series. Not a strict adaptation, but a good one nevertheless.
My two complaints: (1) Blackthorne is too passive, (2) they omitted/revised my favorite bit from the novel. (When Toranaga first interviews Blackthorne, he questions him about supporting Dutch rebellion against Spain.…
Where’s “MaXXXine”?
One of the very few things I liked about the postquel trilogy, and of course it happened despite itself.
I suspect part of the reason why WB is attempting to backtrack shelving this project is that they really would rather not hork off James Gunn.
“Scoob! Holiday Haunt” also is in the can. The creators made a choice to finish the project even after it was announced it would be shelved.
“(In fact, it’s a premise so obvious that the Five Nights movie itself got scooped by an obvious imitator two years ago, in the form of the 2021 low-budget Nic Cage flick Willy’s Wonderland.)“
Which itself got scooped two years earlier by the gleefully ridiculous horror-themed 2019 “The Banana Splits”.
My biggest complaint with Filoni is that he does to0 much fantasy instead of science fantasy.
Still, the entire World Between Worlds sequence forgave many sins. Not all, but many.
BabyMetal would absolutely own at such a venue.
No “Spec Ops: The Line”?
Can’t wait for Bill Cosby to die so that it'll be okay to like his comedy again.
Honorable mention to "Lost in Space".
