I think this is due to 2 things: First person perspective and Third person perspective. This game combines these two types of gameplay which other games only use one perspective and stick with it. The first person perspective is obviously more important in the respect. The helmet actually blocks a bit of your vision…

I believe they are still going to make it but with a new studio. Which means any previous development is lost and they have to start from scratch.

Hybrid Heaven on that list is a hidden gem. Might be hard for people go back and play it now but I loved this game back on the N64. This was some of the most unique gameplay I had seen in the N64/PS1 era.
