You get a pass, but your editor needs to learn the difference between ‘Great’ and “great big PoS’. Though I’ll give the ATS a pass here.

Editorial decision not made by me.

Some wildly varied definitions of “great” in this list... Even you admit in your writing that some of these are awful, so why even bother putting “great” in the title?

It’s a transportation blog, mate

Thank you - this was annoying to me as well; poorly edited.

expanding to cover a footprint three times the size of the country of Morocco, according to CNN.

Hellenikon is 3x the area of MONACO, not MOROCCO. Morocco itself is 3x the area of Greece.

A lot of these on this list are Smiles Per Gallon.

For me... the Honda Civic Wagovan. I once owned a blue one that looked just like this:

Shorter, narrower, and weighs less than a MINI Clubman, so .. mine?

The Geo Metro

Pontiac Fiero, I Want an American Mid Engine car. I can’t afford a GT40 or even a clone so The Fiero is my best bet, suspension and drivetrain is based off of an economy car. The car was super slow. Also good luck getting a tall person in that cockpit.

I’ve always wanted Hammond’s Dolomite when he had it for one of their challenges, BRG and all. Looks so 70s cool and looks like you could have a ball on a curvy B-road.

First generation Toyota Tercel. I had a tan liftback with the upgraded 5-speed transmission. The rear hatch was entirely glass similar to a Volvo P1800ES. It was bombproof and unstoppable in the snow, mud, sand. Super cheap to run and fix, tons of room inside (for its size). The sedans were homely, but the liftback

I so love the Saab Sonett. I have driven several and want one very much:

So selling 100 or 300 , MAKE UP YOUR MIND, out of 35,000 that’s “selling their fleet” that is shameful trolling biased “reporting” ! Shame on you !

I’d call this a risky bet. On the one hand a used Model 3 is good way to get a decent performing EV on the Tesla charger network. On the other hand it’s Hertz so there’s a very real possibility of being pulled over and held at gunpoint because they reported the car stolen.

I’d be more inclined to agree if we were talking about a car built by a company with a quality control department.

I don’t know. What if Hertz tries to accuse me of stealing the car after I’ve bought it? Their trustworthiness is sketchy as hell, you know.

I mean a base C - class, you might as well get a fully loaded Civic or maybe a toyota crown. A C63 is where you want to be or at least a 45. E-class is where you want to start.
