The McLaren F1 in NFS 2 was what got me into cars.

Ive always loved cars to one degree or another but the first one I really lusted over and thought was just the coolest car ever was the late 70s El Caminos.
Child of the 70/80 here, so what we saw on TV and the movie screens made a big impact. The Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am, the Dodge Power Wagon and Camaro Z28 on Simon and Simon, Jim Gardner’s Firebird on The Rockford Files, and yes, I reluctantly admit it -- the A-Team’s van.
Old man Dan here dating myself, it was the Bricklin for me.
Probably my dad’s 1985 Pontiac Fiero. He had it until I was around 6 years old when he sold it after buying a Dodge Dakota pickup. Technically the first car I drove, too! I remember sitting in his lap steering it up our street while he worked the pedals and shifter. Actual picture of it around he time he listed it for…
The Mach Five.
Hybrids get the worst fuel ecomomy in non-stop freeway speeding. The regenerative breaking makes them get much better fuel economy in stop-and-go traffic. My RAV4 prime gets about 32mpg doing 80 down the freeway, but can get up to 38mpg in traffic jams!
The history of speeding offenses should have his ass off the road. The drugs are a given.
“The NTSB determined the Challenger driver’s use of cocaine and PCP impaired his decision-making...”
Someone should do the math, but I’m thinking a Prius (or any hybrid) that’s going 80+ still sips less gas than other non-electrified vehicle. Furthermore, any other non-freeway driving of that person will still yield better MPGs.
Prius counterpoint: I just did a ~3400 mile roadtrip in my 2017. Much of it was done at ~80mph through places like Texas.
Yes, any RAM - but the ass with the “Let’s Go Brandon” sticker leads the pack. How many DUIs have you had, moran?
Ramps FTW
Project Farm is awesome, small nitpick though, he posts videos every Sunday around 1 central. His tests are perfect but he’s always pretty up front about his methods and reasoning. If you are looking to make a sort of significant purchase or looking into things like the best oils or greases he’s probably tested it.
Yeah, if I’m getting all the way under a car, I’m putting the wheels I took off under the car, too. Or ramps. Or the jack. Or all three.
In addition to jack stands, I toss some wood cribbing and or a spare tire under there also just in case. Nice thing about my jeep is that I can actually do a lot under it without jacking it up.
You...saw the picture right? Two missing panes and a third one threatening to break free.
Pick-ups are the LEAST safe vehicle you can buy, yet people buy them because they think they are safe.
