Anyone have a make/model on the wheels on that DeLorean? They are perfect, as mentioned.
I hit almost 60mph in reverse in a Panther-platform Lincoln Town Car once before my instinct for self preservation kicked in. I had a few more RPM left before the rev limiter, I probably could have gone faster but lost my nerve.
That would be great. I didn’t see it in the article. I’ll re-read. Thanks!
Agreed. Plus, it isn’t just this rake from the side profile... if you look at it from the rear, lots of these CUV/SUVs also taper on the sides above the beltline.
In other countries, new drivers or learning drivers are required to have a symbol on the car, visible to all within range, denoting that the driver is a student or still learning (P-plate or L-plate, Shoshinsha/Wakaba Mark, etc).
I remember, in the before times, you could get a clean title Spark with under 70k at the dealer auctions for $2k-3k. They were practically giving them away. Nobody wanted them.
I’m... not an Elon shill... but the person you’re responding to has a point. I do not know if they are in a partnership with the hotel but according to PlugShare.com/map/hotels, there appear to be more high-power Tesla superchargers co-located with lodging (along major interstate routes) than other types.
I’ve heard similar horror stories about Smart dealers & service.
Clicking & vibration coming from the trans tunnel, driver’s window regulator popping, various interior rattles. The vibration is the only thing that really prevents me from driving the car.
As bad as that 3rd party warranty place is, it already sounds better than Ford’s factory warranty & dealer network b/c you can at least get them on the phone.
Or they’re retired on a “fixed income” of $100k/yr in their multi-million $$ homes they bought when they made $2mil/yr.
Hey Van Nuys beats the hell out of the literal middle of nowhere, which is where we ended up moving after being priced out of the CA housing (& daycare) market when we had kids.
Good luck affording anything bigger than a studio apartment in (coastal) Malibu on $151k/yr household income.
They weren’t going to get very far with that chainsaw. The slack on the chain is atrocious. Just asking for kickback or to throw the chain.
I’m guilty of the same. Frequently. Have a good one!
I interpreted the quotes as snark.
This may come as a surprise, but not everyone likes “only one” type of vehicle. I prefer not to pigeon hole myself into one particular style of vehicle. Get out there & taste the rainbow.
The criteria was “newer, safer, under warranty”.
Oh we did. My wife has a 5th gen that we’ve owned since new. Has 80k miles on it and it has been 100% trouble free aside from one passenger side airbag recall and a TSB for a front differential carrier bearing, both of which were taken care of during the same service appointment AND we were given a loaner.
