Those 10 people who smoke in their car must go through a lot of cars, because practically every sub-$3k car on the market these days comes equipped with burn holes in the fabric, residue on the windows, and a felony forest.

Other commenters have likely provided more valuable info, but on my old Euro cars, summer is when the solenoids/relays start to act weird due to what I presume to be the heat. If I leave it until the winter, everything goes back to normal.

A 2.0 Ecoboost XL, optioned to be able to tow more than my Mazda sedan can (add 4k tow package), AWD, a manual sliding rear window and a spray in bed liner... its in the ballpark of $25k.

I’d love to see this succeed, but unless Ford can make it look beefy and rugged in its adverts (like they’re trying so desperately to do with the Bronco Sport), this likely won’t convert ‘typical’ truck buyers.

Is it price & size that Ford is counting on for this to succeed where the Ridgeline, another FWD-based “truck”, hasn’t exactly been the picture of success (~35k sales/yr)?

If you’re parked right-side to curb (like you’d do in the US & other LHD countries), its a pain.

Its a mid/rear vehicle so this is one of the rare cases with a u-haul car hauler that the weight is close to properly distributed.

I read this elsewhere but it makes sense here: the biggest hurdle Ford will face with this truck is people being honest with themselves about what they need out of a vehicle.
