since when recently has sega been right about predicting the direction of where gaming is going.

i spent a lot more time with wildlands than the game probably deserved and i had a good amount of fun despite a lot of problems it had because there were some truly great ideas there for an open world tactical shooter. Breakpoint was a terrible follow up to those ideas because they doubled down on the stuff that

do i need other people to build my criminal empire?

I’ve spent very little time in GTA online since it launched, but have recently thought of starting again with the series x version. So far I’ve mainly stuck to the single player, but will probably dip my toes into GTA Online again once I finish that. The thing that was my favorite activity in GTAO previously was the

Yep, until such technology exists that there is no discernible difference between someone in the next town vs someone on the other side of the globe, this is just the way things will work.

Wait, they were not prioritizing low pings or close geographic regions before? Most of these game modes are 4v4. What the fuck 343?

this map is fine, it’s the weapon spawns/distribution that sucks. This map has spawns for the ravager and plasma burst rifle on the outskirts. In addition to those being 2 of the least effective weapons in the game, both are out of the way and unusable at the ranges of where they spawn. That plus the fact that the

bought a rx580 toward in 2019 and now i say nice things to it so it keeps running as long as possible.

man i got the feels just remembering that heatmap on the matchmaking screen,  i assumed maybe it was real and those plots on the map were clusters of actual players but to see it all dark like that is the end of an era.

i thought the sidekick pistol was automatic for a few days based on how fast some people are emptying clips.

i feel it’s less of a problem with the mangler and more a problem with the other weapons underperforming, specifically the plasma pistol and plasma burst rifles. i’d love to see those get a buff and it’d be nice if they’d tweak the sidearm to combat the swarms of people using rapid fire controllers.

agree, show me a replay with 6 active red player outlines visible at once and i’d be concerned.  it’s probably just a bug.

not gonna be picky, i’m just happy when i have teammates that make attempts to play the objective.

i hated having to reboot my xbox just to get it to pull the update that would allow me to download the campaign once it launched with said update.  Once that headache was done, i didn’t have a problem with the opening to the game. I just had to think that “this is for the people who haven’t played halo or people who

As someone who spent most of the past week playing forza horizon 5, a game that rewards you almost every time you hit the gas, it felt ridiculously stingy to play a full match of halo do very well and the only xp was from the 100xp for completing a match.

I’ve literally not spent longer than 5 minutes with FH5 since it came out that I didn’t feel rewarded in some way. That people are potentially ruining the experience for themselves by finding ways to farm progression aspects of a game that’s already made to be fun and rewarding is confusing to me.

I know these are old games but rockstar did say they were updating assets to improve characters models and textures so i feel like they should be at least be sharper and cleaner looking than the original asset. That said, some of these even look like unreal engine’s LoD streaming issues. the closeups on people’s faces

you know what, you’re absolutely right.

i’ve seen this thing in game being carried by a player who killed me and 20 something other players in a pub match.  I figured it was a reward from comp play but i had no idea how rare it was.  i’ll file this one under “never gonna get”

well gold is a soft metal. and a single gold bar weighs about 27.4 pounds so i’m guessing making a solid gold pickaxe of the size fortnite pickaxes are would require 3-4 gold bars so it’d be like trying to fling around a loaded barbell that dents the first time it hits something.
