dlss is cool but the fact that it’s proprietary to nvidia leaves me less than excited since consoles are based on AMD GPU’s, on the other hand, direct ml that microsoft is working on is a lot more exciting as it’s api based and could really shift things especially if applied to backward compatible console games.

i’ve done something similar with my stationary bike and rocket league.  the bike isn’t actually doing anything for the game, it’s just the thing i’m pedaling my ass off one while i play.  it’s makes 20-30 minutes of cardio go by pretty quickly.
