toxic players have moved onto fortnite and apex
one of the things i’ve enjoyed the most about this game is that it’s not afraid to mess with you to keep you on your guard. I was playing a side mission earlier and many of the side missions could get boiled down to enter combat arena, kill all dudes, press button to activate next objective, etc. This time i pressed a…
Omg I thought I was going crazy. As soon as I popped my turret it would disappear. I was like “is this thing made of tissue paper?” It has been better this morning.
agree, the one exception for me being: if the “space bucks” you bought to get the battle pass can be recouped for the next battle pass via completing the current battle pass or better yet, you get that currency back plus additional. In that case, i no longer care. I haven’t paid real money for a Fortnite Battle Pass…
just be glad that this panel isn’t rounded out by Trashcan Lannister or any of the other Fox evening personalities who will be happy to tell you what opinions you can form while being an upper middle class white person in america.
agree the ability for people to take cover and rapidly heal does create an interesting balance issue
i hated the gunplay in apex until i learned the spread and recoil patterns of the weapons and recognized the brilliance of their ballistics model particularly with regard to sniper weapons. Someone took the time to program the mils (little lines on the scope used for bullet drop) to expand and shrink depending on your…
yeah whoops, i for some reason replaced that with PUBG in my head. not sure why. :/
writing apex legends off because it doesn’t have 20 ton robots and wall running is missing the point. It stands on its own just fine. It didn’t have to be tied into the titanfall universe and it would still be a fantastic game without it.
have you tried apex legends? if you’re into squad play that game is it.
I know this mode was announced way before Apex Legends was on anybody’s radar but it keeps feeling like EA can’t stop tripping over themselves with properties that are catering to similar player bases. I bought BFV back in the fall when it was on sale and had fun with it for a few days but i just didn’t keep me…
It’s shady business for sure but the skeptical side of my brain just assumes this happens even if I have no reason to believe it does and in my opinion the people who are going to be the saltiest about it are the ones who fall for it and believe this stuff happened organically. At the end of the day, Apex Legends is…
my AL stories all end with, “...and the really aggressive player charged in by himself and got knocked and then we all died.”
i partially agree with you but there’s a significant ability difference between people play the game for fun and the people who drop 10+ kill games regularly and the player population of the game is large enough that epic could probably assign skill ratings to players and try to match them up based on that rather than…
they still haven’t addressed performance issues on consoles or the skill gap that’s widening by the day and the resentment for each of those concerns seems to grow each day in the sub reddit
there was a time a spent playing this game where i just died repeatedly to see all the respawn animations. The game has an abrasive sense of humor at times but there’s some genuinely great stuff there too. I <3 you sunset overdrive.
i bet the witness might play well on this
Looks like they may have improved some of the visuals according to this post from today.
i bought it in december (for full price) and honestly couldn’t bring myself to play it simply because of how bad it looked. very low res, very blurry, and this stuff i probably could’ve tolerated if the gameplay was good but it’s nothing special there either. Very disappointed in this game and i had a lot of fun with…
they were never as good as year 1 versions though.
