They're going to use sorghum instead of gunpowder.

Herman Cain watches the Pokemon Movie again.

How about that cover of The Promise? I found it surprisingly effective.

I genuinely loved my Zune 80gb. It was easy to mock but I still find it easier and more intuitive than using the music app on my iPhone. The Zune PC software is way better too, and I still use it.

The Fireys from Labyrinth still make me uncomfortable.

I wasn't aware it was the subject of any hatred. The way I see it, it was a bonus track, and so I held it to a lower standard. It was enjoyable, but I could definitely see why it didn't make the cut on the album proper. Like a "Thatcher Fucked the Kids" kind of song that you shouldn't take too seriously.

"Out of Breath" is the low point of the album for me, but I wouldn't go as far as to say I hate it. "Demons" I really enjoy though. The lyrics really do it for me. I love the sentiment running through the whole album, with the lines like "You won't get everything you wanted, but you will never be defeated."

This is a really great album. Granted, I'm in the "guys who already have a Frank Turner tattoo and are therefore predisposed to enjoying his material" demographic. But it's a much easier listen that the last album was, which took several replays before I felt like it clicked. This one is effortlessly engaging and

Scott Auckerman, you cagey motherfucking snake…

They played the Electric Factory on Friday. In August they're playing the Mann.

The only thing that was lacking on this album for me was some nice clean hooks. Faith No More has always traded in the back and forth between really abrasive and really hooky. Like how a song like Digging The Grave follows Ugly In The Morning. While this album has a few brief moments, like the opening of Rise of the

I saw them on Friday in Philly. Patton's voice was pretty tore up. He sounded great on Fallon two nights before, but he was really hoarse when I saw him. Still, it was a great show and I was really happy with the set list.

Ant Canal?

I just beat the watch dog last night. I'm lvl 160 on NG+. Using the hunter's axe, i basically would just use the overhand R2 attack, catch him once on the face then dodge back. You can bait him to use the same attack over and over which makes it mostly pretty easy (speaking relatively, of course. It still took me like

Wrong, because they are both marsupials.

This was, for me, a lot like "Kristen Schaal is a horse" in the way that it moved gradually from grating to humorous and then back to annoying again fairly fluidly.

I haven't been this excited about a mysteriously working typewriter since the PBS show Ghostwriter!

I loved this movie. Rhys Darby as the leader of the werewolves was fantastic.

I am really slogging through Sam Harris' Waking Up and Eugene Thacker's In The Dust of This Planet. I'm into both of the books conceptually, but they're really dry to get through. I'm thinking it might be time to cut my losses and pick up something fresh.
