It’s insaaaane, this guy’s taint.

Came here just to make sure this was posted somewhere. Well done.

You have so perfectly encapsulated my feelings I feel the need to print out your comment so I can just show it to my film loving friends when they ask me how I feel about Tarantino. I’ll try to keep a running tally of its use for royalties purposes.

I just read Murakami’s “Pinball, 1973" so this video is perfectly timed.

Ahhh, but you forget the magic of the “Production Assistant”. The closest Starbucks could have been two hundred miles away but, if a principal cast member wants it, bet your ass an underpaid twenty year old film student is making that trek in record time.

Oh my God thank you...

I had someone recommend that film to me the other day. I had no idea he was in it, but now I feel like fate is telling me to watch it? Also maybe I shouldn’t trust that persons film opinions?

Nice explanation and I agree that this is not a color calibration or grade issue. It is definitely contrast and even more so gamma, I would say - it looks graded at the gamma of a ref monitor and not a consumer set, right? Like you said, it should have been tested on standard displays first.

Raul Julia was a god damned national treasure.

I wasn’t a fan of “The Last Jedi,” but I am uncomfortable with how even the title of this film takes a very public dump on Rian Johnson.

Absolutely this. I have to do this for my clients (I’m a photographer) because, if you’re not a humongous business, it’s kind of expensive to run those things. That’s not on me. That’s Capitol One demanding a pricey sum (on top of the millions they make in interest every day) for the honor of getting paid by them. If

Ugh. My dad, an otherwise intelligent individual, fell for that scam. He called me immediately AFTER he paid them and gave them remote access to his computer. I made him ship me his entire computer so I could remove and reinstall everything, and I make fun of him every chance I get.

Let us also agree that even "huge wet fart" would have been better than "Stadia."

I'm in Chicago with cable internet and Project Stream was spotty for me at the weirdest times. My kids were watching Netflix while I was playing and it was fine, but then it would crap out at 2pm when I was playing it alone. Same thing happens with PSNow. You're right about city ISP infrastructure - what your

Oh, I was hoping someone out there had the cold, hard truth. Especially from Canada, which as we all know is the baseline experience for internet service across the entire world. The next time an entire county in Kentucky complains about their satellite ISP, I’ll just tell them I know they’re lying because this one

Holy moly, thank you for being the only journalist I’ve read so far that has brought up the whole “none of this teraflop business matters if your ISP don’t play ball.” I feel like I’m losing my mind watching this thing. All they are doing is talking about how awesome their computers are, and never mentioning that the

There are dozens of us. DOZENS.

I was going to add this as well -I suspect a great deal of CC users (myself included) write the entire expense off on their taxes.

This article totally unlocked the memory of me and my father going to a sketchy computer fair, somewhere outside Detroit, to find a RAM upgrade (4 MB son!) for my pieced together 486. I remember someone running the game “Raptor” and it looking amazing, as well as seeing a boxed copy of “The Uninvited” and wanting it

I would guess Canon is going to offer a mirrorless body with two card slots and in-body image stabilization in the near future, and I hope you’re wrong (but I’ll bet you’re right) about it being in the 1D series. I don’t blame either company for being hesitant to pump out professional glass for these bodies, though -
