Fun fact - technically, Chicago Police are not responsible for interstate/city expressways. That is up to the State Police. They have a jurisdiction agreement that allows CPD to operate their if needed, but they don’t really pull over drivers on the expressways.

That.....sucks. If you’re looking to get CLOSE to what you had with the 1.4 without breaking bank, I also have a 1.8 D which is still a solid metal lens, and find the focus pull to be equally delightful.

Also, I’ve used my AF-D lenses on an 810 and was not disappointed.
