Is this the Sigma you’re looking at? - https://www.amazon.com/Sigma-17-50mm-Aperture-Standard-Digital/dp/B003A6NU3U/ref=pd_sim_421_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=SKAQQN7VETSFN7FD4W70
What do you plan to do with it? The Nikkor lenses are amazing in every category, but image quality isn’t the main reason you’d buy one, mostly reliability. If you’re not on the clock, or not running around slamming your gear into things trying to get a shot, third party lenses are great. If I’m shooting anything for a…
As a photographer who makes a living using Nikon gear, HELLS YES TO THIS WHOLE ARGUMENT. Nikon pulled this same shit years ago, only giving parts and services to their “select” Nikon repair centers of which there are (I think) 22 across the country, and pulling service altogether for their pro DSLR bodies. If my 750…
Ash, Bishop, Call, David.........Walter? Damn. They broke the unwritten Alien android naming rule. He should be Edward.
Yep. CPD sends a detective to your house to look around, talk with anyone who lives with you, and they knock on the doors of at least three neighbors and ask about you.
Thank you for talking through that. It’s terrifying to me that officer jurisdiction is that fluid. I understand having more sway with local enforcement if you yourself are an officer, but I would hope that legally you are just like anyone else. I’m biased, though - I got all the way to the “home inspection/interview”…
Thank god Katherine Waterston is in this, because Franco and McBride’s line reads were TERRIBLE in this clip. It wasn’t until Waterston started talking that it seemed like this wasn’t just cast with high school drama students.
Since you’re in the know here, mind if I ask you a question?
I actually moved to Nikon because I found their sensors to have less noise and more range (full frame, though - I’ve never shot Nikon APS). Are you on a Mark ii or first gen? I started professionally with a Mark ii and that camera is amazing (as is the first one, but the AF on the ii is substantially better). I’d rent…
Looks great to me -I’d bet you could spend some time in Resolve and match it to your 7D close enough. It definitely doesn’t handle highlights well, but I’d guess it’s fixed aperture and that’s par for the course. I recently moved to a Nikon workflow, but the one Canon I kept was my cheap T3i, solely for video. Same…
I should give Premiere CC another shot - I switched to Resolve for editing almost exclusively (I’m a photographer, so video work is just for fun), and I don’t think it lets the GPU do anything other than effects rendering. I have the same GPU as you and am really impressed with it considering its age.
I agree, and I use an i5 with Premiere and DaVinci Resolve with no real problems - but I don’t see any NR or correction on your timeline. That (for me) is where I see i7's start to prove their worth. And I see your output is 265, but what about your source? If I source 265 on my timeline, I can’t do much in terms of…
I have no mouth, and I must scream.
Everyone is already jumping in here, but I’ll add my two cents to your comment : none of what you listed is a surprise. It is everything he told us he was going to do in the timeline he promised to do it. It’s being reported on, perhaps not as voraciously as protests and his off-the-cuff dip-shittery, but it’s not as…
Four hours? It’s thirty minutes south, traffic depending.
So you live here, yes?
Here’s the most direct one I could find - http://www.cell.com/trends/molecular-medicine/fulltext/S1471-4914(14)00200-7
I’m a few years out of my program and no longer have access to EBSCO and JSTOR, but I’ll see if I can find some links for you...
There are actually a lot of known gamete mutations that can cause conditions when older men have kids - so if we haven’t shifted any cultural norms by now, we probably never will (at least not for that reason). Also most of the published research I studied placed the mutations in the male sperm cell - possibly because…
