There’s a definite pattern we’ve seen that the more strenuously Trump denies something, the more likely it is to be true. We know he has deals and loans related to Russia, so if Trump denying it wasn’t a dead giveaway...

At this extreme, they kind of preclude each other. He’s either so cognitively impaired he isn’t aware he got the briefing, or he’s aware and lying about it. (These are both terrifying options.) Reagan may have been a terrible president, but even senile Reagan was more competent than Trump. (Also, ironically, the economic trends that people are reacting to by supporting Trump were set into motion by Reagan - and these people still love him. They’ll never learn.)
