Maybe that's part of the app.
Yeah, unless you count Mariah Carey's one in 2000* which doesn't have its year listed in that table for some reason. This seems to be the first of the youth market pop star ones.
Well, well: everything's got a Wiki page now, eh? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_c…
You're right, it's just something that crept up over the last decade as a thing for acts aimed at singers with an adult market. I don't think I've seen this done for an act that's aimed exclusively at children before. [edit] Unless we count Britney in the early 2000s?
"Their musical tastes are awful, aside from 1Direction"
The Daily Mail is apparently the most-read newspaper website in the world, by number of unique visitors. I can't remember seeing news of a "biggest" cultural thing that didn't make me want to walk into the sea.
It does sound like a simple solution. It's almost as if the famously right-wing Telegraph is manufacturing outrage against women for buying a sex book.
Aww... My post was actually a dry joke!
He certainly
This is very unprofessional. How does he expect anyone to take his job application seriously with all those exclamation marks?
I was reminded throughout of the website Clients From Hell... clientsfromhell.net
A good original sci-fi/fantasy short is likely to get a ton of attention these days. There's much more potential in those, because they can get distribution for film festivals and pick up awards and so on. Also the audience is all sci-fi fantasy fans, not just a subset of fans of one brand within the category. It's…
It's less likely to get shut down if it's not-for-profit and self-funded, but ultimately it's the copyright holder's call. Generally, it's a fair bet today that companies will understand the drawbacks of going to war against fans making films for fun, so it's fairly safe to make a no-budget or self-funded short for…
True, but the extra power isn't only going to impact looks. It's going to help gameplay too; greater performance overheads beyond what you need can be devoted to reactive AI (instead of the rather unsophisticated AI we still get today) and physics calculations (which could get you totally fresh gameplay involving…
That's a very good point, but I wonder if anyone's calculated how much time (and therefore money) gets spent on fighting the restrictions of the current gen: getting a world to work within its RAM limits, and so on? Maybe development costs won't necessarily be doubled for a game that's twice as "dense" in technology.
At the moment, Ubisoft is claiming that its next-gen editions are outselling current-gen editions on pre-order. It could be a case of telling lies until they're true, of course.
What a lovely message this sends to everybody who isn't white.
I think it's going to be a good year. Developers and PC gamers have been in a bit of a deadlock since so few of us were buying Win8, and a lot of people with DX11 cards have been upset that the gains aren't that great yet. Now we've got the DX11.2 XBox One launching, it could be time for a big step forward if MS can…
Some of it is down to the bullshots of this gen's marketing. Everyone's seen hype campaigns showing footage and stills way beyond the appearance of the final game over the last 7 years. Now we're going to see final games that look like those bullshots! So, it'll take a little time to understand what's happened for…
