It's for the accent, and it's not a speech impediment. When someone with that accent talks "posh" or impersonates a person with another accent, they don't do it. It's about a manner of holding your mouth. A lot of people won't die with the same accent from their youth, especially if they move to a different part of

You what? There was a massive outcry over what the show's creator said.

Unlikely. There's a slim chance that if EA found itself with another horror game that they might remember how things went wrong for DS3, but there's almost no chance that they'll think about making a purer DS4 or any DS4 at all. If it doesn't sell, it'll just die.

We should be fighting politics? Perhaps we could stage some kind of protest. I've got my DOWN WITH POLITICS placard ready.

Normally I'd agree with you, but the asterisk can't say "actual maximum: 4000 song files" if the text that followed said "up to 9000 songs".

Jack the Ripper mutilated the corpses with many small signature cuts to the eyelids, and removed internal organs. It's not very requiescat in pace.

PLEASE GOD/UBISOFT. DO NOT DO JACK THE RIPPER. If they can make the Ripper murders a very small aside, rather like the Templar murderers you had to hunt in ACB where it takes up no more than ten minutes of the game, fine. If Jack is you, but you've been framed, that's terrible. Everyone's imagined that happening

Stop calling it. It would be really bad, mainly because everyone's always imagined it in their heads already, so where's the drama? Hooking it into a royal conspiracy, like every film about Jack ever?

Why do you think it's all on boats? It won't be. People think the biggest cities in the Americas were in what became the US, but that's not true. They'll want to use Havana as a central location for most of this game: much bigger than New York or Boston at the time, and full of great architecture.

There is no way Ubisoft could have responded to criticism quickly enough to create this entire new game. It's been in development by a second team, long before AC3 came out. It's likely that there are three teams now on AC, with a certain amount of overlap between them where possible.

But it's not named, and saying "next Xbox" is just as vague as "next gen consoles".

Do you realise he was a games journalist first of all? He's probably been playing games much longer than you have.

If you mean cloth diapers that are washed in soap and water and reused, what is the problem? That's how it was when I was a baby, and my parents, and their parents. If we want to talk about primitive solutions, imagine putting all of the used diapers it takes to raise a single baby, each one made of fibres, plastic

"I'll just leave that here". iseewhatyoudid, etc

The Wikia might lead to something though: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Alta%C3%AFr_Ibn-La%27Ahad That's fan-made, still. It was in the early publicity for the game, because I remember wondering how this was going to feed into the plot, and it just didn't.

I forget where it was first raised, but his mother was a European Christian, which is the explanation for his appearance. I forget where the information appears in the games themselves - it's ages since I've played AC1, but I think there was a little dialogue there, and then the Codex in AC2?

I don't know how you got there from a post that said it was a great interview and that he would love to see that character in more main console titles. Not many of us can afford to buy the incredibly expensive Vita. Come to that, I can't afford console game prices, which is why I play on my 4-year-old PC.

Because it's not used in the story. If there was a genuine reason for Altair to have a white parent and a white appearance, you would expect it to be reflected in the story, but it was a dishonest contrivance due to fears about a Muslim who kills Christian crusaders. Altair's background didn't matter to the writers,

Actually they were keen to mention that Altair was from a Middle Eastern parent and a European parent, and then the game came out and this had no bearing on the story whatsoever (so little that many players were not even aware of it). This was a marketing move: an understandable stance, but not a totally brave one.

Yeah, I'd like to see a port as well. There's not much chance of me buying a Vita unless they (and the memory cards) become much cheaper, especially with new home consoles coming.
