American liberals were all for Scotland staying a part of the UK too, even though we should believe in, IDK, self-determination and all that jazz... and the fact that Scotland’s (and Northern Ireland’s) membership in the UK is just a vestige of Britain’s very violent colonial past. Apparently we only believe in

Just that one, since it seems to get so many people killed.

True, but you would have to consider owning a gun a right in the first place. It may be ensconced in the 2nd ammendment but if you, like me, don’t think it should be there at all, then infringing on it isn’t really that big of a deal. I mean, civil rights leaders, in my opinion, also shouldn’t own guns. Because NOBODY

I am the exact same age as you are. I remember after Charlie Hebdo my friend and I were both like, “Only 12 people? That is not very many.” And then we were both upset that we are so used to this shit happening over and over that it doesn’t hurt anymore.

welp, I guess I am stateless. Who can take me in? I will gladly move almost anywhere. but nowhere too hot because I am not a fan of the heat.

I really, really, really hate white men in pick up trucks when I am on my bike. I know this is a gross over generalization (because my dad is a very sweet white man who also drives a truck) but the only times I have ever been screamed and sworn at have been by white men, usually in pick up trucks.

Don’t be hard too on yourself for not knowing! I consider myself a “cyclist”— I bike commute 12 miles a day for about half the year, take lots of longer bike rides for fun (like 40+ miles on a Saturday), and use my bike almost exclusively for weekend errands and going out... and I refuse to use clipless pedals. I have

I still remember when I “came out” as liberal to all my Baptist youth group friends senior year of high school and they were all like “Yeah, we could tell the whole time.”

Gross. I didn’t know she babysat his kid. This fact somehow makes it way worse.

TBF, isn’t everyone a Dolly fan? Like, if someone told me that didn’t love and appreciate everything that Dolly has done I might never speak to them again, you know?

The Current, the local Minneapolis public music station, will be playing Prince the rest of the day. Minnesota, Minneapolis in particular, is pretty proud of Prince, especially since he chose to continue living here even after making it big. I am quite sad that my path never crossed with his. I always hoped he would

Yeah, but, this couple was the ABSOLUTE WORST. I watched this episode with a friend and my BF and by the end we were all saying “These people should not be foster parents.” And, like, somehow they were making tons of money off of their meditation business? IDK.

This is what stood out to me too. HOW RUDE.

That is weird. I am 28 and think I am getting springtime allergies for the first time.... ANECDATA!

Yeah, I really don’t understand all the hate toward Mumford. I liked their early stuff. Their later stuff left me feeling kind of meh. But then I saw them play at a festival and they really rocked hard. It was such a fun show (and I was only barely drunk and not high at all!) I was impressed enough to give their

I think a far better question to ask is what would it take for you to vote from Trump? Like, what is your one policy point that would make you ignore all the other craziness?

EXACTLY. Bankruptcy would ruin the fantastic credit I have worked so hard for. That is not an option for those of us with heavy debt loads.

This worries me though because my credit is currently super duper fantastic due to my timely payment of my student loans. If my only option for getting rid of my astronomical loan payments is to lose my fantastic credit, which would jeoporadize my ability to get a mortgage in the near future, I wouldn’t be on board.

This is the thing I keep saying to all my liberal friends (who don’t have debt) and no one seems to care or notice the lack of a plan for those of us with debt who are out of school. My BF even called me selfish for raising it as an objection to Sanders.

I have been a big fan of Ariadne but doubtful I could get the mister on board with that one. I don’t know why this article is so dismissive. These older names are lovely and a lot better than Neveah, Jayden, etc. (I have one of each of those in my life.)
