Christ. You’re amazing. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I am sure you’ll get it good enough to make the trip.

See for yourself. Black, silver and tan aren’t the greatest mix.

I love the VW brown, I just hate the beige interior that come with it.

I have had similar experiences with Renault Clios and Fiat Pandas in Europe.  It’s not just Polos.  Zipping through the local streets are fine, but they are completely out of their element on the highway.

Golf SportWagen S 4 Motion 6-speed manual. 184lbs of torque, AWD, manual, lots of room and great ride.

I’d get one.  Sure, the interior is a little 2012, but there are not many everyday convertibles left.

I have a 1999 Camry LE with the 5S-FE 4 cylinder that has 224,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. Powertrain is still humming along nicely. Just did two long road trips this year (1000 mile and 6700 mile) and except for a small oil leak, it works perfectly. Not sure why you think this engine was bad,

Cool story bro

I don’t love when manufacturers ditch the stick, but I get it.”

That’s not a Jimny.

I want this so bad.  Great choice.

Because they are too high off the ground.  Cars handle better and are more fun to drive.

Your rear seats can be removed in a 2004 RAV4 for a super flat floor with tons of space.

I just took a 1999 Camry LE 4 cylinder with 211,000 miles (original automatic transmission drivetrain) on a 6700+ mile road trip from Pittsburgh to Vegas to Montana and then back to Pittsburgh. We stopped at 7 national parks and Monument Valley on the way. It never left us stranded and the only casualty was a

It looks just like this (even had wood grain), except it was silver. It’s name was Holmes.

Agreed. I learned to drive on a 1978 Corona Wagon Luxury Edition (what is now referred to as LE) 5-speed with a 20R engine. Engine ran far longer than the body which was was eaten up by the PA road salt. My dad got drunk one night and flipped it on the way home. It sat on a dirt road all night leaking fluids. The

Good rant. My friend has a 2005 Solara Convertible and has no idea what to replace it with. The thing has 195,000 miles on original engine and transmission and still going strong. Big trunk, usuable back seat, and the ability to haul things if needed. I told him to keep it running as long as possible.

The worst thing about this generation of Corolla is that it still came standard with a 3-speed automatic. You had to pay extra for the 4 speed auto. And the seats didn’t fold down in the back. You had to spring for the top-of-the-line LE model if you wanted a pass through from the trunk. I got a great deal on a beige

Every little bit helps save the planet, burn less fossil fuels, and make us less dependent on foreign oil and the price of gasoline. And in this instance, a 20+% increase in mileage is significant. I am guessing real world mileage on the Escape is no where near 30 mpg. I just rented a 4 cylinder FWD Edge and drove it

Yes they are.
