I’m scared of the same things that you are. But he did say on Steam that there’d be a lot of new surprises in this new game, so maybe he’s found a way to revamp it. Either way, the Internet’s reaction to this is gonna be the best part. XD

I appreciate your honest answer, I really do. I see a lot of yelling and name-calling on the Internet, and far too little thorough discussion about the ideals we actually believe in. I too have wondered the same things you have. God seems to be a lot more legalistic in the Old Testament than in the New Testament. But…
As an African-American Christian, I can say that yes, there are people who claim to be Christians and are racist. I’ve seen some of that in my time. They go to church all the time, participate a lot, and they’re racist as crap.
I really, really love this. Papers, Please is one of my favorite games to play with friends because it’s almost like a social experiment. While fun, it really does bring up questions of discrimination, racism, and powerlessness. For example, after the bombing by a Kolechian citizen, you are required to search all…
Perhaps that’s the feeling the designers want to get across? I mean, since this is a reimagining of Doom, arguably the grandfather of the modern FPS, maybe they want it to feel “generic” because this is pretty much where it all started?
Exactly! Isn’t Linkle basically the Korra to Link’s Aang? The Hero reincarnates whenever it’s needed, and it takes the form necessary. It doesn’t underplay their strength or make them any less the Hero.
That’s why I absolutely *love* watching PB&Jeff on the PBGGameplay channel. They just sound so natural and fun, and while they might get frustrated they don’t use swear words, and it’s just natural to them. They’re the kind of guys I’d love to just hang out with on a weekend and play games with. :)
Man...I really hate it when I find out I was right to not pre-order a game...
As someone who can barely ever find time to get to his local comic shop, this isn’t really making me want to read any DC. The most I get is some of the new Batman graphic novels from Barnes and Noble every now and then(I just picked up Endgame a few weeks ago), what about the other books? Should I give it my time, or…
That custom-painted Kamiki Burning is on point, though. :D
Can we PLEASE just abandon the New 52 now? I mean, can Flash break time again, or can Superboy punch the universe again or SOMETHING??
But...but...they already made The Incredibles 2!
The one question I don’t see many people asking is when will Nintendo let us buy different pants and shorts?
I kept thinking “Cut the tail” and “Break the head!’ while watching this. Looks fun. The protagonist may be somewhat generic, but I like him better than a lot of stalwart, stoic, silent, solid-as-a-rock protagonists we get in a lot of other games. I would like to know how in-depth the character/armor/weapon creation…
Being a straight, black, raised-Christian, hetero, teenage, homeschooled male comic book reader, I can totally relate to your comment, sir. I’m looking forward to reading more comics with the younger kids in my life, and heroes like Cyborg and the new Ms. Marvel give me hope that more and more diversity among heroes…
