For me, both work fine, action, slow action, but mostly through that action or without, the characters is what draws me in, all of them. I even like long silences, glances, stares, whatever. I just love this show.
I agree that finale this season wasn't really "finale quality", but I cannot wait for the final stretch

They kinda did - a brisk walk and a heartrending talk, with Liz looking cocerned and Phil looking like a sick puppy.

    wow, good try!
however, i think that there is no time for the Centre to implant a new spy couple in the US. That type of operation takes decades to hone and the USSR has just a feeble breaths left in its lungs…

You do not understand the drama of food shortages, clearly :)
    Spoiler alert! -
it ended with even more severe food shortages and then a period of no food at all, and then god gave them oligarchs…

It was extended, the encore started at 11:14 pm :)

I totally thought that when he recoiled with "A woman?"

and obviously, in October there could be some snow on the ground in Moscow, but NO kvas wagon would be selling kvas then, only in hot summer.
The whole timeline here is confusing…

yeah that! she doesn't like "churchy" stuff any more :) you go girl

Well, as they say in Hollywood, once you get typecast…
(have no idea what they say in Hollywood, obviously :))

I think we are not done with any of them yet.

I think "working at the travel agency" is a euphemism for field work. imo

It might get pretty hot. Here's what Google has to say:

I agree about the showrunners choice to make USSR scenes appear that way to establish a certain mood.
As far as dark wallpaper choice IRL back then, it would be more logical to choose a lighter hue then, because a small room would appear bigger and not so stuffy with light colored walls.
    Also, perhaps, the dark colors

I am sorry but that is a really silly thing to say.
It is not cut and dry.
I have benefited greatly from the system under which I grew up, and that in turn allowed me to get where I am today without crippling debt, with zero debt actually. I even earned an American Masters degree for free (you paid for it with your

    Ok, no hard feelings :)
I actually realized that you meant Soviet…
Anyway, Russians might be cool to you, but they are enemies of my people, they denigrated and enslaved and oppressed my people for a long time, and shoved that CCCP thing down our throats, and created an artificial famine (Holodomor) that killed

    I didn't say I didn't believe you.
I just wondered about this subtitles thing if that was something having to do with any sort of an established convention of some sort, and you call me Russian…

    yeah, what ever that means..
we didn't have bananas in stores to buy so I guess that wasn't a babana republic.. But I did get two Masters degrees for free at a university, so.. Idk
people here imagine horrors but in 1970-80-90s, nah

And I think I did that outwardly as well, but my cat refuses to confirm that, she claims she was napping, so…
I very rarely (almost never) have a vocal reaction to fictionalized content…
    Growing older and softer?

BTW I am not Russian, please, it's an insult to me.

I don't know, I think you just decided that is so and you are building all your arguments to support what you have already decided.
I see this situation differently is all.
First of all, because when someone is "manipulative" towards the other, that someone does not care about the victim, they are after their whatever
