OMG. I'm stealing your idea for next year.

I kind of wonder if the amount of drinking increases in the rich/employed during recessions because they figure they might as well enjoy being able to rack up bar tabs and fund open bar holiday parties while they still can. In six months, they could be unemployed, depleting their savings and shopping at the grocery

My saving money kryponite are the social obligations. And I don't mean random happy hours and dates. I cut way back on those. In my social circle, it's always someone's birthday/going away bash/engagement party/wedding etc. I don't like playing the "poor" card to get out of social functions, but these things always

Slow clapping so hard right now. This was awesome!!

You don't wear enough cocktail dresses, your hair isn't long enough and straight enough and you give off too much masculine energy!!!!! Do what all rich men like, because they are all the same and want the same things!!!!!

Not to mention...in said stand up special called "Money Shot" she spends the majority of it talking about how ridiculous it is that your boyfriend wants to have sex with you, and gets laughs talking about how to avoid doing it at all costs. I think Whitney Cummings might be the new Carlos Mencia. Some lame comedian

I don't think the issue is a female centric comedy. You know what is the issue? Laugh tracks. If you have to tell the audience when to laugh, you're doing it wrong.

I'm sorry; but I watched her stand up special on Netflix a few weeks ago and found myself annoyed to the point of being offended. She tries to do this "hey I'm a hot, sexy lady who's also funny and raunchy," schtick, except most of her jokes revolved around how gross and stupid men are, how disgusting and lame sex is,

Wow...I would LOVE to delve into that research project. I've often wondered about those statistics myself.

It annoys me though, because there are SO MANY bullshit start ups out there, regardless of the gender of people running it. I'm a follower of hers and she elaborated by saying she'd love to see a female run Kiva. It sort of sounds like she's holding women to a higher standard than men. It seems that, to her, unless

Study Abroad: It may seem expensive in college, but it is WAY more expensive to see the world once you're out working than if you're able to do it through your university.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who would be a permanently bloated, cramping, shrieking, emotional, pus filled cystic zit without my Levora28.

I agree. I tend to believe, even the sugary sweet ones like Sarina, hate women more than they love the unborn.

True, but I'm guessing that if he was a waiter at Second City, and enthusiastically participated in an improv stand up show like this one, I'm willing to bet he's an "aspiring" comedian.

I've seen soooo many comedians try out this rape-y schtick thinking its edgy, funny, and falls in line with the whole Tucker Max-Drunk Frat Guy persona that was considered comedy gold a few years back. I think it backfired on this guy. Big time.

Wow...thought i was the only one going to mention "rent and tools" being eaten up by what you're paying at the salon. I hear ya on the principle of the thing (we all work hard, make decent enough wages and most of use don't expect a monetary tip on top of it), but I do feel like, if I have $150 laying around to get my

Aww! Thanks! Yes, my ovaries felt especially massive while writing my two week notice. We'll see how long that lasts.

I really should not have read the comments on the Chronicle and HuffPo articles so soon after lunch.

I PM'ed you. You're awesome, girl.

LOVE. You said it much classier than I ever could.
