She definitely didn’t. I can see where it’s a little confusing though since she has no reason to apologize. They brought a new voice to everybody and kept diversity in mind when writing the show. It’s a shame they don’t feel good about what they’ve shown instead of guilty.

That’s fair and I agree. Would I have voted to okay him? No. Am I going to immediately declare that Elizabeth Warren is a fake progressive. No. Do I hope that people extend Cory Booker the same courtesy (for a far less high-stakes vote made for a far more understandable reason)? Yes.

There is a small part of me that thinks this is part of a “lose a battle; win the war” strategy. As in let this one go in order to stop a worse pick, then go back and get rid of him after he has hung himself.
