I felt a little bad cheering for Ledecky because Sarah Sjostrom being from Sweden deserved some love (not sure where they’re at in medals exactly), and she also looked respectful in defeat (not all do). Either way, congrats to all of these awesome ladies.

Yeah, my mom supposedly put me in lessons for a bit but decided it was a waste of time because I could doggy paddle and they were working on breathing. If I have kids I want to get them more seriously involved so they don’t have to struggle with fly/breast stroke at 23.

If he was like 30 (or 25 or fully independent or whatever) and she was like 47 and he had a healthy relationship with his foster parents and agreed to find a surrogate/get sterilized, then I guess it’s okay. But there’s a lot of ifs there, and this doesn’t qualify. I hope he finds a woman who can serve as a partner…

You’re sort of right, and I was probably thinking of ketoacidosis (since my SO is type 1 diabetic). It can lead to ketoacidosis if you’re not careful, and not something to strive for IMO. But I’m sure it’s not the worst diet.
