But let’s face it: shit’s been real for a while, and nowhere is the realness of the shit more evident than in Los Angeles.

Stopping and starting use the most energy, battery or gasoline.

This is why cars keep getting more expensive. Too many unnecessary required “safety” features.

Soviet Russia has a lovely standardized Trabant they know Jason would love. There is no reason for innovations or development competition between manufactures. Everyone should have an engine for the people!

One easy fix is to call CPS if you see children in the public streets with no parent or guardian in sight.  There was one kid who rode his bike into the side of a moving car and went to the hospital.  I think deer are more predictable and less dangerous than children.  They should never be allowed in the streets.

Well, we know the cloth masks are about as effective as a fishnet trying to catch algae, so you know, just wear a properly fitted N95 mask or you’re just wasting your time and not helping anyone.

If its not a PROPERLY FITTED N95 or better mask you are wasting your time. Properly fitted means it won’t fog up your glasses when you breath out. If the air gets around the mask, then its useless. Lots of medical staff tape the masks to their cheeks when they know they will be directly exposed to covid positive

While you’re at it, make sure you explain that we appropriated Baby Jesus and his birthday and halo from the Egyptian sun god Horace who just happened to be born on the winter solstice.

Now explain to your religious friends that Mary and the Baby Jesus are based on Isis, Egyptian God of Fertility, and Horace her son who was a sun god which explains the halo over baby Jesus’s head, also taking from Horace. Lots of status of Isis with Baby Horace on her lap, pretty familiar iconography if you ask me. Ir

You seem to think that people buy Toyotas because they care about things other than rock solid reliability and a very long life.

Well, Ganymede and Titan are larger than Mercury, so they are most likely pointing out how silly the planet rules are.

We just don’t have the tech, we aren’t even close to a breakthrough either. That’s fine though, regular progress is good progress. If we could get excess wind generated electricity to the bigger cities that would be a win. If we could get some of that excess solar that they are wasting in California to new places,

idling a gas plant is going to be far more costly than hitting a switch and pulling solar panels offline.

Scotland is a place with a lot of water and they have been doing water projects in Scotland since Victorian times. The first large scale aluminum plants were in Scotland because they could generate electricity from all the water.

The two approved farms will generate a total of up to 465 megawatts and include up to 400 megawatts of battery storage.

Solar is great, I love solar.

The problem with your argument is that people aren’t altruistic. People care about themselves first. People are not against you, they are for themselves. Make sure you and your family are vaccinated, and if someone can’t vaccinate then they will just have to stay away from people till the pandemic has run its course.

Yeah, bulling doesn’t solve anything, it only increases the vaccine avoidance.
