Sadly, in America, most midwives are not trained to deliver breech babies. You can definitely find some, but still...It also depends on what kind of breech the baby was too.

I am enjoying the heck out of all the Maya Rudolph gifs. Every day when I scroll down on Tweet Beat or Dirt Bag, I hope you have posted a gif. Thanks!
Also, using water during labor is SO relaxing. Tubs are sometimes referred to as 'midwife epidural' or 'aquadural'. I was in the shower for most of my labor, tub for the end and ended up pushing on the bed because I didn't like the feel of pushing in water. But some women get in the tub during the transition and then…
Some women that I know have a phobia of needles, white coats and hospitals. Some have been abused and giving birth at home under the care of midwives is a more gentle, empowering approach for them.
It is harder for moms to push out posterior (what you were) babies. And it can cause back labor. Oy, that shit hurts.
A midwife (or any other doctor that I know) would not have had you pushed if there was cervix still in the way. I am sorry that happened to you.
And look everyone, childbirth is risky. But you know what is also risky — life.
Why?
So, here's my deal with breast reduction. I got mine done back in 2000. I was 19. At the time, it was lovely. I had lost all this weight but my breasts were still large and giving me problems. Then I gained the weight back and my breasts are back to big.
The other side of breast reductions? Breastfeeding. At the time I…
I love that is where they met (on Shameless) and you hardly ever seem them in the tabloids. I don't think I have ever even seen a picture of their kid. I hope to all that is good that their kid is a ginger. Look at that beard!
Yes! They both had their sexy swaggers and that shot will forever be burned in my mind.
I know exactly what you mean. The main reason I didn't do the jewelry thing was because I didn't have one damned drop to spare.
Huzzah! You are way more articulate than I ever could be!
Slow news day, uh?
I LOVE my new dress from eshakti. It fits like a fuckin' dream. And I have a really awkward body shape. If I had more disposable money, I would buy my skirts and other dresses from there too.
Congrats! (On the baby AND the possibility of having a wee ginger).
Oh! Just found it!
I voted for it. Mainly because I am voting off my experiences from the 80s and 90s and I grew up without cable. I think my first time to watch MTV was when I was a freshman in HS.
Yes. Follow your passion, but in a way that sustains you and your lifestyle of your choosing. I am 32 and dropped out of college when I realized that what everyone told me I was going to be in life was actually what I didn't want to be. I had never given what I wanted and what I could be good at a chance. I just went…
I am only able to echo other's words. But I want to emphasize that it's okay to not have words. Life really sucks at times, especially when there is no warning. So be shocked and then let yourself be really freakin' angry and sad. Other emotions will come after those two are taken care of. Hugs to you. Love to you.…
I think we are the same person.
