Ugh, the grocery store line. Some people stand way too close! The other day this man was standing so close behind me he was blocking the credit card reader. When I said “excuse me” so I could, you know, pay for my groceries, he backed off just enough for me to squeeze my arm in.

Is this a social cue thing or or a cultural difference? How do people not know they’re doing this?
