This is such a lame take. I’d assumed that by now people understand that some people that become victims, after receiving no help with their trauma, turn into abusers themselves. It absolutely does not make the abuse they inflict on others acceptable, but we can understand that breaking the cycle incredibly tough,

I absolutely agree with your analysis here.

I genuinely have a great feeling about this show.

lol letters of support are not protected or included in any sort of laws or rules about our courts. they are emotional appeals, that’s all. A lawyer is just doing their job. A person writing letters on behalf of a diddler is a choice they made.

Personally, if I had a friend who was known to have, or accused to have diddled kids, I would not remain friends with that person, nor would I write a letter defending them. But I’m weird like that.

The show is horrible! It doesn’t seem to know what it is at all. They market it as satire, but the show is devoid of humor. I couldn’t get into the first two episodes, and finally turned it halfway through the new episode last night.

even those who have done horrific crimes.”
um, no, that’s a very meaningful difference..

Come on Depp apologists, come on and make your comments. You’re totally not just misogynists, you’re fighting for a valiant cause, like a knight in the crusades or a WW2 fighter pilot.

You lock your door.

Yeah so was OJ.  Your point is?

She could have had it all. Unlimited Disney dollars, her own spin off show, merchandise, long lines at Cons, bigger and bigger roles. Instead she threw it away for a handful of shitty right wing movies nobody saw and a few pitiful Cons

The “boop/beep” thing was a direct insult to Pedro Pascal, after he put pronouns in his bio as a show of support for his trans sister. Publicly attacking the star of the hugely successful show you somehow landed a part on is exactly the kind of stupid-as-shit career move that leads directly to working for Ben Shapiro.

Which isn’t even getting to the biggest part yet: the actual star of the show she appeared in has become a superstar over the course of it, famously has a trans sister whom he truly loves and supports in every way, and presumably told their bosses: “shut her up or get her the fuck off my show.”  And, not being idiots,

Registered sex offender doesn’t always mean child molester, contrary to popular belief. It can apply to a wide range of offenses, some that have nothing to do with sex, such as public urination. The idea of the list is important to have but the generalization that it continues to apply does more damage than it

Why do you think they were going to fire her? Her installments were doing well and she was central to them.

Fired because they found out he wasn’t a pedophile

I really liked the new acting awards format, at least when the presenters seemed to care. The whole group for supporting actress gave such beautiful, personal tributes, and it was really lovely. The best actress bunch, on the other hand, felt stiff and not at all connected.

This sucks but I am glad that Christina Applegate got to deliver the stellar, career best performance she gave on Dead to Me while she was still able to perform. The chemistry with her & Linda Cardellini was just incredible & she was so ferocious and raw, it was really impressive and shocking.

meh this desire that what someone is experiencing isn’t bad enough is a bad take. it does nothing to help that what has been projected on Meghan is that either i) she shouldn’t speak anything about her experiences of racism (especially the extreme vitriol online) OR ii) if she doesn’t acknowledge the ways she’s been
