love all he’s done, but this trailer really looks like something magical.

dang him outta the blonde wig...I’d ride his dragon even if it made me burn after ;)
yah, Moore seems very self-aware in interviews, so it’s kind of cool she’s bringing that part of herself that feeds on the pressures of never aging to the role. extra meta.
Her family already had the wrongful death suit settled with the production company, but I think they have a separate pending suit against Baldwin and the company for negligence.
I like Lena’s style lately. something both cutesy and cutting about it, which makes me feel she would have wrote a great polly pocket film.
still the level of vitriol is because Lena is fat, not because of the dress lol.
I thought this show kinda went to the stinker the last few episodes, but I will say that scene of Amy Brenneman at dinner was some amazing acting on her end.
oh fuck off, if this dress was on a thin person nobody would be here commenting.
sappy and sleepy.
I agree, Alicent didn’t have that knowledge so what she assumed makes sense.
Yah, when he finally turns around it is Daemon himself looking back (Matt Smith gone and flat ironed that wig of his)
it’s funny tho, just one of those slices of how absurd being a celebrity must be.
the trailer made me want an AI just like her. seems like she knows what’s best.
I think Johnson captures something a little more real to how most of us interact with the world. She plays what a modern person is very well (maybe to her detriment sometimes).
still feels like a central conflict between how these two women navigate misogyny tho.
idk if you ever worked corporate, but I’ve never seen a piece of medium quite capture the hollow highs of it all like this show. the show to me is perfect.
I think Starlight and Homelander make interesting foils, especially with him now also rejecting his Superhero identity and her becoming less contolled. But can we finally just skip to showing Starlight as a super supe? Been hinted at for too long now.
thing is they still would never hire an out actor to play Superman in 2024. this story is from 20 years ago :(
Furiosa might be one of the best theatre experience films I’ve seen in the last decade, pure fun with social commentary that doesn’t hit you over the head with it during the film. You leave thinking about all the themes Miller snuck in there after the adrenaline simmers down.
I fucking loved it. It tells so much!
