I think it's well worth the buy. I haven't played a game as much as I have Destiny in a long, long, loooooong time. Hit up the subreddit and don't be shy about sending party invites to strangers in the Tower.

It doesn't have matchmaking for one thing, raids, which would be beyond miserable with matchmaking. Also does have a story. The lore has been considerably fleshed out and expanded since vanilla. But it's great that my fun doesn't need to be your fun, as long as you have fun with the games you play!

A few short quests, but nothing substantial. It was a free update.

Ok I will!

Challenge modes in the Prison of Elders, Crucible meta updates, vendor stock refresh, loot table refresh, and a metric fuck-ton of quality of life improvements. I got more levels, weapons, and armor sets in a casual few hours last week than I did all of 2016.

Meanwhile, the Taken Spring update has made Destiny the best it’s ever been. We welcome all ye Division people back to the Tower with open arms.

So, the person he squatted next to to arm that bomb no longer plays video games, correct? You don't recover from that can't of trauma.

It has taken 5+ years and dozens of divorce threats for my wife to condition me to do it this way. It really is a great way to do it. The only way, I meant the only way please don’t hit me again.

RIP Loot Cave 2014. We will never forget.

I had forgotten until just now how painful it was to read your recaps last season. Here’s some Super Good Advice: the show that you want to watch is called “The Walking Dead”. Season 6 just ended, so you might have missed out. “Fear the Walking Dead” is an entirely different show, with an entirely different premise,

Just another example of how fantastic the Grimoire is. The Destiny I’ve always wanted is buried in those cards.

Saw that too - definitely an amazing roll, but with heavy only spawning once per match, I wouldn’t call it a priority buy. Picked up that Hawksaw when I got home. What a treat.

Yup, those are the two that really jumped out to me, but others also look fantastic. Should really take the grind out for some people. Here’s a nice summary if you’re interested:

Notable Vendor Rolls for all you PVP enthusiasts:

Yeah, they created a specific symbol for colorless mana.

Yeah, but did you see what Westvale Abbey transforms into?

I...did you just? Wow. Exceptional.

Yes next question

I think a lot of it makes sense if you consider exactly what you said. All of the important people are working on Destiny 2. They tackle the obvious, easy PVP balance issues and leave the rest. Personally, I don’t find any of the changes to be all that game breaking. I guess I don’t see it through your lens since

It still is, for me anyways.
