Anyone try running VoG yesterday/last night on hard? Did it with my usual team and we could not kill Atheon. Full disclosure: I've run a hard raid with this team every week for the past 5 weeks, and we can do it in an hour or so even fighting the Templar for real.

Disagree completely. Thought it was a captivating story and felt very satisfied by the ending. Definitely checking out TAL as a result.

That's awesome! Won 12 straight games of IB last night. K/D around 2.25 using an old, maxed Multi-Tool, and I legit got a single mote of light and a blue hand cannon.

YES IT WAS PLAN C

At the time, I needed to choose between gear for the Vault and SUROS. Told myself there was absolutely no way he'd only sell Truth and Pocket Infinity for the rest of his fucking 2014 tenure on the Tower. I hate myself.

That is so awesome. I can't wait to try it and fail spectacularly. Do you think I'll finally get a Suros to drop then?

Destiny loot tables:

This is Xür.

That's it exactly. On the other hand, I'm totally shelving this game until they fix this disaster. I'm so sick of waiting on Xür to progress.

The new exclusive strike is CRAZY. Ran it on 30 with a full team and each of us had well over 100 kills. Took 15 minutes.

So. Many. Thrall.

Save yourself the frustration: don't run it until you're a 30.

I don't necessarily believe that Shepard's force of will and being indoctrinated are mutually exclusive. If anything, I think it highlights the tremendous power of the Reapers, and actually affirms Shepard's will to save everyone - with the conclusion being that he breaks the indoctrination.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but Bioware did release several statements to the effect of 'Indoctrination is just a fan theory, and is not by design'. Even though it's f*cking perfect. Womp.

Preach. I love The Last Word. I love the Multi Tool. I have the Insurmountable Skull Fort on my head. That is all I've purchased from Xur since release. I have a mountain of SC for any expansion exotics that catch my eye. No sympathy for people who complain about expansions to a game that is desperately trying to have

Mass Effect. Indoctrination Theory. The end.

If you like the game so much that being locked out worries you, you could just drop $30 on the season pass. $90 for a game with that much replay value is hardly ridiculous IMO.

Haha yeah, they're definitely a challenge. I only have enough time to play once a week. My Tuesday night is always dedicated to running the raid at least once with the same group. We've cut it down to about 40 min on normal and twice that on hard (now that you can't cheese the Templar). Otherwise, I'm all about Dragon

Totally get it. I think you're in the minority of Destiny players, but that's ok.

What's the point of picking up an MMO styled shooter if you're not willing to pay for expansions? I considered the season pass a day one purchase with the game. It's not like the expansion raids were kept secret.
