Everything.

Well said.

Really interesting take, particularly the part discussing the perceived (and probably real) lack of benefits provided by modernization - economically and politically.

Definitely agree there. Kilo Five went more than a little off the rails towards the end.

I urge you to read The Fall of Reach, First Strike, and Ghosts of Onyx, THEN trudge through the environmental description porn of Bear's Forerunner books, and tell me which you find more entertaining. Don't get me wrong, Bear had some great ideas. They were just buried under a mountain of descriptive adjectives.

Eric Nylund did a bang up job writing for the Halo universe, post success of the game. Greg Bear wrote the Forerunner Saga in anticipation of Halo 4, and those books were f*cking terrible. Also, if you didn't slog through them, Halo 4 made no f*cking sense.

Tried this with 4 friends last night. We each died about 20 times within the first half hour and decided to just go patrol Old Russia instead. You really do need a full fireteam, with party diversity, with everyone adequately equipped.

Haha it's definitely not an order. The lovely lady in question is always welcome to decline. This just helps to avoid the 'well, where do you wanna go? What do you wanna do? What do you feel like doing?' stuff. It helped me date girls who were decisive and open (things I value very much), and ultimately land the girl

Before the conversation comes to a close, you have an opportunity to ask her out. The easiest way would be to say "Hey, I'm having a great time talking to you. Would you like to continue this in person, perhaps over drinks?" Then suggest a specific time and date at a local bar or coffeeshop. Another option is to say

Idk, free release day delivery from Amazon? It's shinier the first day.

I'm just going to go ahead and put all my cards on the table: When I first watched the last 20 minutes or so of the final episode with a huge group of people, it fell really flat for me. I was like, that's it?

I hope you're right too. I spent most of high school and all of college exclusively playing H2 and H3 multiplayer, and for me, the Halo universe hasn't been the same after 3. I liked CE Anniversary, but H2 is gonna get all my love.

My god, all my fears in one article!

1) This is awesome. My palms are sweaty with man sweat just like when the Indoctrination Theory popped for ME3. 2) I have complete faith in Bungie. This is a launch MMORPG and they are going to pump out a buttload of content to keep us invested in this world. 3) I understand that the game was a touch overhyped, and is

I'm starting to get ridiculously annoyed by all the THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM WITH DESTINY articles.

XB1.

I've put about 20 hours into the game since launch and have not stumbled upon a single community event. Are they really that rare?

I would absolutely join a random fireteam #notallnobodies

I let my friends talk me into an Xbox One because 'DUDE WE'LL ALL BE ON XBOX ONE YOU NEED TO GET IT'. Not a day has passed that I don't regret it.

Someone like you should have money thrown at them for having wonderful and awesome ideas.
