That was fucking brilliant. Someone should pay him for that.

I really liked the arrogance of writing yourself into your own novel as the voice of Gan - to each his own though. I would also suggest picking up Wind Through the Keyhole. It was a great standalone.
I mostly agree with what you said. Have you ever reread the series, knowing the end? I've also heard rumors that King is writing a 9th Tower book, where Suz, Eddie, and Jake will go back and save Roland from himself. I'd read the hell out of that.
I've been thinking about a way to respond to this all day, because I find so many people who were disappointed with the ending. For me, it was absolutely perfect.
Best ending: The Dark Tower. *drops mic.
Assuming this would be a light hearted G-rated movie, I'm guessing it'll be about Padawans getting into trouble during peaceful times.
The one with all the trucks (3rd from the bottom) is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Hard to believe that's real.
Art looks fantastic, but Halo always has had a way with gorgeous imagery. I'm holding out for a story focused game where the narrative actually feels as big as the universe Bungie created. I've been less than impressed with the scale of the games since the conclusion of Halo 3. Reach felt incredibly small scaled and…
That is the dumbest, most ridiculous, funniest thing I think I've ever seen.
Pretty sure they completely scrapped Spartan Ops. It was wildly unpopular.

Reading this article while eating was a bad choice.
I would be in complete agreement with you on the final season, if the entire climax wasn't two guys pushing a little bit of dirt at one another in a circus tent, then Claire being ridiculous and jumping to her not-death. As far as I'm concerned, the show had 1 season, and it was pretty darned good.
The mere mention of Heroes makes me ridiculously sad to this day. So much beautiful potential from S1 completely and utterly wasted away to less than nothing by the end. The hurt is too deep.
It did look very final, but so did stabbing Malcolm Merlyn in the heart with a GD arrow, so there's that. In the meantime, I'm content to kick my feet up and watch Slade don the Deathstroke mask and lay waste to damn near everything in his path.
Right on. Definitely going to be an interesting second half to the season. I suppose I'm only hoping that they do more to develop their conflict than just 'derp derp you let Shado die'. I would find that ridiculously unsatisfying.
I think you and everyone else are jumping the gun assuming that Shado is the reason why Slade wants Ollie dead. As someone else pointed out, there are still 4.5 years of island time left to showcase - we know nothing.
How about Slade punching straight through one of Ivo's henchmen? Or Ollie starting to show feelings for Felicity? Or Ollie obviously getting set to fold Roy into the Justi...er...Arrow team? OR HOW AWESOME BARRY'S TRANSFORMATION WAS HOW WAS THAT NOT AN ENTIRE PARAGRAPH OF AWESOME?!
Color me pleasantly surprised. Looks like it'll have a little more emotional depth than Pacific Rim (as if that would be challenging).
Because Ka is a wheel and all things serve the Beam.
