True, true. But maybe it did function, albeit briefly, in his younger years. He does have children and at least some of them are undeniably his.

I will just sit here seething and hoping that starting tomorrow we will have a long line of Trump mistresses coming out about their abortions payed by the Big Lump of Orange Cluelessness himself.
You can say that again! I am a “legal alien” (I hate the term, but loved Sting’s song) here and I know so many genuinely good, kind, educated, open-minded people who would work so hard for a better life in the US. Unfortunately, they will probably never have a chance to. And yet, people like that woman are “natural…
Oooh, don’t be mean, they were just happy to learn to new word :).
I took your answer to Katmandu as a permission to post. I did quote you properly (as all scholars should). Please let me know if you mind it, so that I can delete my comments. Thanks.
I love foodgawker. Yummly is also great. I loke to see how the food looks like before cooking it.
Tonkatsu (Japanese crispy fried pork) with sweet potato and chorizo casserole and creamy coleslaw. Oh, and beer, of course.
Check out HuffPo. They have an article precisely about evangelist leaders supporting him after the “grab the pussy” stunt. Irredeemable to quote someone else....
Sorry, but I cannot hep myself when it comes to Trump. In his case, it wouldn’t be groping. With his tiny hands, it would be fisting.
And speaking of tigers, check out Tea Obreht’s “The Tiger’s Wife.” It’s completely unrelated to to Carter’s piece and only remotely and imaginatively related to the Beauty and the Beast story (well, maybe not so remotely after all), but it’s a very powerful novel. It left me with a deep sense of sadness.
I think we both agree on the lack of critical thinking skills, but disagree on library vs. internet thing. I cannot claim that outdated or pseudo-science texts cannot be found in libraries, but there usually is some sort of selection process in place, which cannot be said about most internet posts. Still, we’re…
Since we are commenting on an article related to science and vaccines, my assumption has been that is what we were talking about. But in general, no, fiction books do not have citations. Neither do children’ books, coloring books and so on. This debate started around the anti-vex mom’s so-called research, so research…
Definitely a great idea for a perfume line. I would buy any of those fragrances right now :). Ah, such an unexplored market.
Sorryyyyyyyyy, I responded to the wrong poster. I was supporting you and this response was supposed to go to oldscrumby. I got kinja’ed or was just careless. Again, mea culpa, herbadmother, I was just trying to support your argument.
Oooohhhhh, I miss Skyrim. I’ll get through my 5th Dragon Age Inquisition game play and I’ll replay it :)
You came with the Facebook meme term of comparison in the first place. If you argue for digital research, then yes, I think it is just as valid as research in a brick-and-mortar library. But much faster. There are amazing databases out there and digitized collections and e-books and publishing houses giving access to…
Too bad I can star only once. You have much more patience to engage than I have, so thank you for that.
Sorry I didn’t see you answer and answered to that too.
Yes, that random book in the library is better. You know why? Because it usually has a bibliography, citations, notes and the like (all further avenues of research). I have yet to see a Facebook meme that has that.
Unfortunately, many don’t. I was an international student, so for me a course like that was a little miracle. Never had I thought I can actually access so many sources. After seeing the library at my university, I wanted to move there and sleep between the shelves - I kid you not.
