There is quite a lot of depth in men’s tennis, but nobody can approach Djokovich right now, not even the other players in the top 5. You can say the exact same about Serena and the WTA, really.

So much this. The play is spectacular, but I do often have to watch on mute. The grunting and, now, screaming on every single swing has gotten out of control. And I used to be an anti-pearl-clutcher on this issue, but it significantly effects my viewing enjoyment. I’d almost rather just watch on FlashScore.

Misaki Doi is not “unranked,” (she’s ranked 64th, in fact), but she was unseeded in this tournament.

Yes. He needs serious help that he’s clearly not getting, and, most likely, he doesn’t know or won’t admit he needs. Armchair diagnoisis maybe borderline, possibly bi-polar (or co-morbid), both of which very often are couple with substance abuse issues. I’ve never cared for the kid, but I don’t really want to see a

Abita makes one (soft) that is downright addictive.

As a semi-pro poker player, people ask me all the time what the worst part of the life is, and my answer, always, 100% of the time is “the people.” This guy is one of those people.

This useless twunt is the absolute definition of try-hard. Put this sad ho out to pasture, already.

With some of the inexplicable results that come out of the tournaments in China every season, this wouldn’t much surprise me.

As an avid tennis bettor, it doesn’t surprise me one bit. The very thing that makes tennis attractive to a gambler like me, who runs a ton of numbers on match histories, etc., as research - namely, that tennis is a competition of individual vs. individual - makes it more susceptible to match-fixing.

Damn, he lives in a 3rd-tier aluminum-siding subdivision outside of Cincinnati? Who is his agent?

Unless it’s regulation and oversight of minority...(well...anything really they miss the full control of slavery), women’s bodies, and any kind of social welfare program (and then, so much that it is strangled out of existence).

Agreed. The city is not some place where literally every aspect of life is unique and different. It has its peccadilloes and unique requirements, and is an amazing place to live (and, yes, I do think living there makes people ‘special’ in some way, much the same way living in Paris, Tokyo, London, Mumbai, or any major

Evolution may be inevitable, but it’s not unmalleable. We can, and must shape that evolution into a humane and prosperous future.

I hope this happens more often than I know it doesn’t, if that makes sense. I hope this is a growing trend.

Also the repercussions of creating landscapes where people must drive 10 miles to buy anything (because Wal-Mart destroyed all the other businesses nearby). The increased highway-fication of small towns, further suburban and exurban sprawl along those highways, with strip-mall Wal-Marts dotting the exits. Not exactly

I actually quite like Perry’s dress, but theft from artists is not ok.

Not sure if still happening, but Macy’s was selling coats at 80% off. Got a Calvin Klein leather sexy as all hell for $80.

“NYC” = the 5 boroughs. “New York” = the 5 boroughs. “Upstate” = anything north of White Plains. “The city” = Manhattan. “Long Island” = Long Island but only the part east of Queens and Brooklyn.

Awww, somebody’s got an inferiority complex.

First season, NYC. What was Andre doing in his room the whole time? Did he just need a place to live? Why is Julie so aggressively dumb? Why is Eric so deep in the closet? Why is Heather B from Boogie Down Productions even there? How do I find Becky and get her to bring me back to the loft for forbidden sexytimes?
