5" display? What is this, a display for ants?

Battery exchanges will not work. It’s a dumb idea.
Right?! I tried to order some new ones for my S2000 a few months ago only to find out they were like $200.
It’s a little too ioniq, yes I really do think.
Upgrading your fleet to provide better service is a routine cost of doing business in any environment. If ticket prices need to subsidize the cost—which isn’t much when you consider a per-flyer basis, then they should. Lets not act like the airlines aren’t making outrageous profits currently that makes this cost look…
Wifi should be included in the ticket price. How much does it actually cost the carriers?
Sure, because the ICE doesn’t have any environmental damage related to all of the extra required components, right? Batteries don’t come from a unicorn farm, but they can also be recycled, and used for many years after their “automotive capacity” has been exceeded as stationary storage for power, something we’re also…
“It has been demonstrated more than once that Evs are at best emissions neutral compared to ices.” That is absolutely 100% not true.
No, they’re not being “held ransom.” That’s just silly. They’re an incentive to choose an option that is better for the air we all breathe, and help remove our dependence on foreign fossil fuels, which is a national security issue.
The subsidy (7,500)will end if/when people order enough (200k) vehicles.
Eh.. I think it will be doable—with the options stripped down badly. The car might start at 35k, but I doubt that’s what they’ll expect to sell most models at.
Yeah.. go move to China and enjoy breathing. The EPA is doing its’ job. Just because you can’t see the problem in terms of people dying in the streets and smog that rivals Beijing, there are emissions standards put into place, and if you violate them, and can’t appropriately fix them, you, the violator, shouldn’t get…
I don’t have the slightest idea where you live, but in some states-yes, that is the current situation. The store acts as a showroom, a vehicle to provide information, demonstration, etc., and they tell you to go online if you’d like to configure/purchase a vehicle.
Direct selling is what Tesla wants to do, which is sell vehicles through its’ stores. A dealership involves a middle-man acting as a dealer. Tesla themselves cannot be this “dealer” (at least in the case of Michigan law.)
I’m sure it’s in the pipeline, but probably waiting on battery efficiencies to get a little better first. A pickup isn’t going to have great range due to aerodynamics, which means it needs a bigger battery, which means today = massive cost. Sure you want an electric pickup, a la Ford Ranger or GMC Sonoma. Are you…
There’s a reason the Jeep Cherokee is rated lower than the Mitsubishi Outlander by Consumer Reports. The infotainment is nice, but otherwise, I can’t see why you’d buy one. I drove a rental version (and hence, a stripper model), and there was not anything I found noteworthy to like about it.
I think the title is wrong. GM likely realized these SUVs were cannibalizing their Yukon/Tahoe sales. Those aren’t going anywhere.
I was worried that jalops forgot about the grill. I don’t know how you can forget about the grill. It’s big enough that it should be able to pop-up and be used for tailgate bbqs.
I think it’s likely the black plastic piece just “melds” with the chrome on the wheel so it appears that the chrome extends to the center. (Maybe it even does, but assume the entire circle of the cap is removable.)
