@ninjakitten: Maybe she'll do a guest appearance like Wendy Williams did!

Anyway, isn't the new term "de-starred"?

How Demi Got Her Hip Back. The book was okay but I can't wait to see the movie.

I'm from the Twin Cities and I can assure you that Target Corp is a pretty conservative company.

@clevernamehere: St. Paul has the largest population of Hmong people in the country and Minneapolis has the largest population of Somalians. Additionally, there are ton of Liberians here, never mind other ethnic groups including Native Americans and Latinos. Alaska may have a larger percentage of the population that

@ljheidel: There is no way in hell Alaska is far more ethnically diverse than Minnesota. I say that as a ethnic minority in Minnesota.

Wait, if McCain/Palin won and then that set in to motion events leading to women not being able to have abortions, wouldn't that mean that we all could be the next VP of the US?

If we all stop talking about PUMAs they'll go extinct.

@rose0red: well, obviously my point would apply to people who are actively advocating for McCain and not those who are passively doing it.

@treecut...will cut a beech: I think I had the Get In Shape Girl ribbon set! Did it have a rubber ball filled with sand or something? It was awesome. It came with an audio tape and everything.

A few years ago I read Prep and then loaned it to a guy friend that went to the same school she did. He said that it wasn't that ridiculous compared to how it was. A couple of things were a little off but not that much. Other friends who went to a different boarding schools have all told me stories that are just as or

My senior year the freshman debaters only agreed to settle down at practices (they were a bit hyper) if I promised to show them how to twirl their pen around their thumb. That was almost 10 years ago and one of those frosh still remembers that story. Oh, debate. So wonderfully ridiculous...and horribly ridiculous.

@vwbugirl: APDA and NPDA are nothing like this clip.

Yeah, coaches didn't watch rounds unless they were out/elim rounds because they were all too busy judging. And the good coaches usually judged later rounds too. Also, coaches with teams that hadn't been eliminated were usually obligated to judge on panels one round beyond the one in which their team(s) were

I did L-D for 4 years at a school that had pretty intense policy and. L-D programs and I went to camp several years. That shit was insanely fun but also draining and destroyed a few friendships. Still, some of my closest friends today I know from debate (my team and from other schools) and I honestly wouldn't be
