Just read your piece. Well done. A great tribute that introduced them to a generation that will never see them live as they were, but will hopefully keep them living by listening. I met a man, a blind black man who started playing with the ABB. The Hammond. We, a few friends, one who knew him, went to his recording

Will do with pleasure. Here's a video of Stevie at the NOLA 1990 Jazz Fest that I mentioned the other night. I said I have a big photo of him playing. It's a beautiful closeup. I was somewhat startled to find the video, but will enjoy the music and remember the musician.

Too cool for school. I should play this for my clients. Criminal defense. Some juvy. Just for the irony. A little background mood music. Yeah.

One of my fav bands as a true Blues lover. Here's a stripped acoustic version of one of my fav songs, Melissa.

Love that song, puts me in a thoughtful, introspective place of mind. Not a bad place on a long, cold night.

Stevie covering Jimi. Mardi Gras week, my friends.

Honorable Mention? No. He's right up in there. I have an amazing photo of him playing at the NOLA Jazz Fest shortly before his death. His music fills my soul.

Take a f'g bow. Write a book. Start your own advice blog. You have mad skills.

Awesome old school. He was so Ice T in Johnny Mnemonic., a fav late night movie.

Valentines Day song!

A couple of music legends. John Lee Hooker and Van Morrison sat down, Baby Please Don't Go. Yeah, the loser has to fall.

Thanks for the post. I hadn't listened to Beck for awhile. Had forgotten his awesomeness. You brought me back.

One of my Beck favs. He hits the groove and stays. Thank you.

It was very cool. I think Paul sat down when he realized the camera was on him, because he didn't want to take away ELO's moment. Am I reading to much into it, because he seems like that kind of guy to me. Projecting much? Maybe.

I get your message and agree he is great but hyperbole by those he tours with and fans is just that. Peace.

Your handle. It's perfect. And I totally feel your comment. There's just no cure.
