I use sharp cheddar, but parm sounds good, too.

Hahaha. Or stop commenting on two sites at the same time. Mah face is red, so red.

so true, especially given the winter Tennessee has just been through. I worked from home for the week we had snow and ice. Just couldn't face that and the low temps. My blood is way too thin tropical for that.

Admittedly, we consider anywhere north of Lake Ponchartrain the North. :)

hahaha. They were taken aback to say the least, but are pretty friendly. Thing is, people here are known by their connection to the land, so you are not from here until several generations have passed. I have been as much a cultural shock to them as they to me, and we co-exist. I don't guess I consider them true

Def plan to watch it this week. Appreciate the heads up from you all.

Juan Cena! I really liked this. You may not be aware of my battle of the stars. Beaten and battle weary, I have none. I am barren. But I wanted to tell you I quite enjoyed the tune.

You're right and so much more. Another fav.

He is but also has a jazz/blues influence with his big band sound. And Texas western in the country vein.

G, I really liked that. All about the groove and enjoyed the lyrics. Funny thing about Tennessee. When I first got to the rural town here from NOLA, I walked into the Piggly Wiggly (not lying), and demanded to know where they were hiding all the black people. Whitest town I ever lived in. The town has grown

As you might imagine, I listen to country, Tennessee, no choice. The youngs are great, though I have deep love for the likes of George Jones. I started to post Lyle Lovett singing what to me is an ironical version of Stand By Your Man, but ran headlong into She's No Lady. Not country, but so damn good.

ok. My bad. Two comments fused and confused. I am sober. Liked the song and got the reference after I posted too quickly on the button. Maybe I have a concussion.

I have seen the post and heard about the studio, but haven't yet watched the video, which I will do. It's a magical little world away from corporate city from what I'm told. Nashville and outlying towns have lesser known, secret studios tucked away. I guess all music cities have such enclaves. Privacy for

Apparently Bamako is autocorrect or clumsy fingers for Alabama. Hahaha on me.

So starred. I don't care what others think, I thought he is a hero for his service in and out of the military. I am a veteran. No shame.

Wasn't everybody? Still, this came at me Out Of Left Field, to hear Don Johnson, Renaissance Man, co-wrote a song with DickRy. Wut..

Dig them. Hate, hate daylight savings, spring forward crap. Throws my internal clock off. So are these guys part of the Muscle Shoals sound? I saw the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section along with Booker T and the MGs inducted the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville in 2008. To be honest, I just know Muscle Shoals is in

Trouble No More off Eat A Peach, the compilation album was released and dedicated to Duane shortly after his death. Blue Sky, Melissa and others are on it. A great album. I recall the rumors surrounding his fateful and fatal last ride. And tall tales as to the album's name, but we were kids then.

Thanks. Who knew. You did. Appreciate your taking the time. If the Black Crowes like them, they must be good. Interesting story. Sweet music. Thanks again.

Those guys have amazing hair. That alone is worth a star. I am curious as to how Blackberry Smoke got its name. I'm thinking smoking to do with fog. Maybe. Because, in Tenessee smoke is another name for fog.
